The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the monthly financial close process and oversight of the company’s financial processes. They will prepare journal entries, reconcile account balances, maintain the general ledger and prepare ad-hoc reports. This candidate will play an important role in an exciting and growing company.

What You’ll Do:

​

• Manage the monthly financial close process - ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
• Conduct account balance reconciliations and prepare ad-hoc reports for other members of the organization
• Manage cash, credit card spend, and AP/AR
• Assist with payroll and other general administration, as needed
• Analyze and synthesize financial data, working collaboratively with business stakeholders
• Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns, financial statement audits, and sales tax returns
• Organize contracts, tracking compliance with various vendor & customer agreements
• Contribute to improving expense approval processes and other company-wide policies
• Document / maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and integrity of financials
• Assist in development/implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department
• Support Director of Finance with special projects analyzing our financials, detailed costs, and other analyses

Requirements:

​

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in internal accounting or finance, public accounting a plus
• Excellent time management/communication skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Standards and degree of familiarity with SaaS industry a plus

Parachute Health’s teams work directly with home medical equipment and supplies providers as well as health systems, practices, nursing homes, etc to help them navigate the process of implementing digital product ordering. The Business Systems Developer is a key role, responsible for driving efficiency and execution on tools aligning with the strategic direction of Parachute Health. This role, on the Business Operations team, involves maintaining business systems and integrations between various business systems.

What You’ll Do

​

Reporting to the Business Systems Architect, the Business Systems Developer will focus on developing and maintaining internal tools and integrations between various business systems, including Zendesk, Hubspot, Gainsight, Customer.io, and more. This role requires proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL, along with a strong understanding of APIs and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Develop and Maintain Internal Tools:

​

• Design, develop, and deploy internal tools to improve business processes and efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance existing internal tools, ensuring they remain functional and efficient.

​

System Integrations:

​

• Integrate various business systems (Zendesk, Hubspot, Gainsight, Customer.io, etc.) to streamline workflows and data sharing.
• Develop and maintain custom APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different systems.

​

Collaboration and Support:

​

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that improve their workflows.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal tools and integrations.

​

Database Management:

​

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases to support internal tools and integrations.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.

​

Documentation and Training:

​

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all internal tools and integrations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to use internal tools effectively.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

​

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and database design.
• Experience with APIs and system integrations.
• Familiarity with business systems such as Zendesk, Hubspot, and Customer.io.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies

The candidate will be based out of Denver, CO, where we have a Parachute remote hub located in Cherry Creek. The position is a hybrid with an on-site presence required 3x per week (Tuesday-Thursday).
