THE ROLE: Account Manager, SLED

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for business development, new account acquisition, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within an assigned territory for Presidio’s SLED customers. Important activities include anticipating customer needs by proactively gauging customer requirements, responding to customer requests, preparing proposals, and developing solutions from available offerings.

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel within your territory as required. It will be based in Houton, TX. 10 % travel

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Execution:

Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate hardware and company services.

Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to cold calling, conducting in person meetings, and partnering with vendors or manufactures.

Maintain a targeted understanding of customers’ business showing the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business.

Meet or exceed annual sales top line revenue and margin goals as defined by management.

Drive profitably and grow revenue for target accounts in partnership with inside sales team.

Adhere to sales process including but not limited to pipeline development and accurate forecasting via internal tools.

Performs extensive proposal writing and prepares sales information for customers.

Account Management:

Manage individual sales objectives to include sales orders and billing activities to support quarterly goals.

Manage on-going customer account relationship to include updating account information in company systems and resolving customer satisfaction issues.

Work with inside sales team to ensure that quotes are provided, and order requests are processed accurately and with engineering team to accurately scope projects.

Manage past due invoice resolution with accounting to ensure proper collections.

Develop and maintain solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account.

Understand each target customer’s business model, map their organization, and identify their unique technology needs.

 Strategic Planning & Presentation:

Performs deep analysis of account base including “heat maps” to determine key areas of opportunities.

Develop & execute marketing and business plans to drive revenue and profits.

Work with sales leadership and team to provide feedback, develop specific vendor relationships, advance new company initiatives and mentor new employees to enhance all aspects of the sales strategy.

Attends monthly/quarterly account planning/penetration sessions with our strategic manufacturing partners’ AMs.

Presents a Quarterly Business Outlook (QBO) to Sales/Ops Manager each quarter which will focus on past performance and expectations of current quarter, analysis of pipeline, key wins, and personal improvement goals.

Provide in-depth customer technology roadmap and collaboratively work with inside Account Manager to uncover new sales opportunities.

Develop partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives and optimize the joint selling opportunities within the territory.

Use monthly forecasting and pipeline management to manage sales growth.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles, achieve sales goals, and articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings.

Proven track record in developing relationships with customers and vendors, and ability to translate client business needs into solutions.

Preferred candidate will have prior experience selling advanced technology solutions from Cisco, EMC, Nimble, Aruba, Palo Alto, IBM, HP, Citrix, Microsoft, etc.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience and/or military experience.

5 or more years of outside information technology sales experience in the Public Sector space (customer facing) in infrastructure, storage, network security, professional services or managed services preferred, and cloud strongly preferred.

THE ROLE:  Sr. Solutions Architect, Cloud Migration

Job Summary:

A Presidio SrSolutions Architect (Sr. SA) leads the presales discovery, analysis, architectures, designs, and proposals of relevant solutions that map to customer outcomes and requirements through direct client engagement. A Sr.SA effectively and efficiently leverages presales methodologies, technical acumen, key relationships (clients, internal Presidio stakeholders and vendor partners), and context analysis (Industry, Customer, Technical, Sales) to position and recommend solutions that that deliver long term value.

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 20%. It will be based in any location in the United States with preference for candidates living in the Central OR Western regions of the United States. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand Customer Current State. Proactivity drive discovery and understanding of customer IT current state, goals, outcomes, and initiatives across Business, Technical, Operational, and Financial facets. Research industry trends and topics and develop discovery approaches. Develop and lead workshops to drive relevant discovery. Document customer current state to assist customer and sales teams target future state architectures and roadmaps.
  • Technical Opportunity Leadership. Identify customer stakeholders and their individual success criteria and needs. Create and lead technical solution approaches and next steps aligned to customer stakeholders. Align, vet and coordinate Presidio and vendor partner technical resources as needed. Engage Manager/VP/Director level at clients directly.
  • Solution Architecture, Design and Documentation. Analyze and assess client requirements and determine target architecture and design solutions (HW, SW, Licensing, Cloud services, Managed Services, Delivery Services, etc) and roadmaps. Create and deliver compelling technical proposals directly to clients, including relevant drawings, diagrams and analysis.
  • Technical Excellence & Evangelism. Maintain a high level of technical excellence and evangelism across multiple relevant solution architecture and product areas. Lead the curation and delivery of relevant technical knowledge, presentations, and conversations at all client levels and customer related events. Actively participate in technical champion programs and communities. Attain certifications when appropriate. Learn, discuss and present new and emerging technical and IT related topics.
  • Account Leadership. Activity participate in client account related activities that establish the Solution Architect as a trusted advisor internally and with customers, such as: Account planning, EBCs, social events, etc.
  • Team Engagement and Enable Culture. Engage Presidio team members, activity participate in team activities, and contribute on collaboration tools to drive an open, positive, inclusive, resilient, change-orientated team culture.   • Partner Relationships. Develop working relationships with vendor partner teams and peers. Contribute to and drive execution of relevant partner vendor GTM strategies.

  • Experience in a consulting role
  • An understanding and knowledge of common IT operating models, frameworks and practices, i.e. ITIL, DevOps, SRE, etc
  • An understanding and knowledge of Cloud adoption models and approaches
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of one or more of the following is required:
    • Compute and Storage Architectures & Platforms: Hyperconverged, SAN, Cisco, Dell EMC, HP, Pure, NetApp
    • SDDC & Virtualization: VMware, Red Hat, HyperV, Nutanix
    • Data Protection Platforms: Dell EMC, Rubrik, Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault
    • Container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu

  • Experience with reviewing and/or writing statements of work (SOW) and Bill of Material (BoM) for various types of projects in support of Cloud and datacenter solutions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 7+ years of working experience in systems engineering or solution architecture 
  • 2+ years of public cloud experience, preferably AWS or Azure

THE ROLE: Senior Security Engineer - (Post Sales)

Job Summary:

As a Senior Security Engineer - (Post Sales), your primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, configuration, installation and troubleshooting of complex data/security networks in medium to very large environments.

You'll also be providing network security consulting services, including assessment, design and implementation of data and secure networking environments, assisting clients through planning, design, and implementation of secure data communications networks, and developing comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance.

Travel Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be a member of the Pre-Sales Engineering Team and will be responsible for meeting with Presidio’s customers, collecting requirements for business solutions related to security projects and developing engineering solutions for sale to Presidio customers.

THE ROLE: Digital Sales Account Executive, SLED 

Job Summary:

The role of the Digital Sales Account Executive (DSAE) will be to develop and build Digital and Cloud sales strategies and sales initiatives within the Presidio Sate, local government and education customer base working jointly with the Presidio sales organization.
