Job Description
The IT Specialist is responsible for managing daily Internal IT operations of the CoreWeave. This candidate is responsible for delivering high quality, repeatable and sustainable IT and reliability related support to the organization. This person will be an individual contributor to start, and will also play a critical role in setting up, maintaining and decommissioning IT accounts, tools and related access for company use. The IT Specialist will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer at CoreWeave.
CoreWeave is a growing company seeking a diligent IT specialist to take care of all our internal Information Technology needs. As the CoreWeave IT Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up user accounts, virtual desktop infrastructure, setup of IT hardware including office technology and user workstations, installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration and resolving all IT support issues.
To be successful as an IT specialist, you should have an in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies, including VDI deployment, basic scripting. Top candidates will also have an amiable personality and an aptitude for customer service.
Your Role:
- Installing new software and hardware components
- Owning the employee onboarding process - including initiation of employee accounts, setup and distribution of IT hardware and software assets to users
- Owning the employee termination process - including removal of all employee access and reclaiming IT hardware, wiping and reissuing
- Ownership of the Unified Endpoint Management tool - managing user endpoints for compliance and health checks
- Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary internal IT requirements
- Assisting with network administration tasks
- Ensuring data storage is safe and secure
- Resolving all coworkers related issues with their IT systems, hardware and software
- Assisting the CISO in educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network and employee IT assets
- Ability to provide solutions to complex issues; handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; set priorities; meet deadlines per project scope
- Demonstrated ability to present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong time management, good technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
- Willingness to learn new technologies/toolsets as part of the job responsibilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Degree in computer science or a related field is preferable
- Professional certification (e.g. GSEC, CISSP, etc.)
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication ability, both written and verbal
- Personable, professional demeanor
- On-site office support at least 4 days per week
Nice-to-haves:
- Google Administrator experience
- Okta Administrator experience
- Authenticating internal applications via Okta SSO
- Expert knowledge of IT office network topology and physical setup
- Intermediate cyber security tools such as EDR, Email Security and MDM tools

There will be times where the IT Support Specialist will need to be available outside of regular business hours to support critical issues or meetings.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
