Job Description

CoreWeave is looking for a JIRA Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for managing and optimizing our JIRA instance to support our agile development processes and enable efficient collaboration across teams.

As a member of this team you will manage and administer our JIRA instance, including user management, project creation, and workflow configuration

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure JIRA is configured to support our agile development processes and workflows
  • Develop and maintain custom JIRA plugins and integrations with other tools in our development stack, including Github, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Slack
  • Monitor and optimize JIRA performance and scalability, and work with our infrastructure team to ensure JIRA is running efficiently
  • Develop and maintain JIRA reports and dashboards to enable visibility and transparency across teams and projects
  • Train and support our development teams on JIRA best practices and workflows
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest JIRA features and capabilities, and make recommendations for improvements to our instance

Wondering if you’re a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are some qualities we’ve found compatible with our team. If a portion of this resonates with you, we’d love to talk.

  • 3+ years of experience in JIRA administration and configuration
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and workflows
  • Experience developing custom JIRA plugins and integrations
  • Experience with JIRA REST APIs
  • Experience with writing backend clusters in Python and/or Go
  • Familiarity with other tools in our development stack, including GitLab, Kubernetes, and Slack
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and system administration concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000-$145,000 annually. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.

If you reside within a 30-mile radius of our New Jersey, New York, or Philadelphia offices, we're excited for you to join us at the office at least three times a week, recognizing the significance we place on fostering connections, collaboration, and creativity within our office culture. Our commitment to operating as a hybrid workplace underscores our dedication to enabling our employees to tailor their work-life balance to their individual preferences.
