About the job:

As a Partner Solutions Implementation Specialist, you’ll work with merchants, value-added resellers, and point of sale (POS) vendors to build out emerging technologies and drive the early adoption of new product lines. From deal through implementation and ongoing optimization, you’ll work directly with partner technology teams to design and ship software solutions to support their business requirements. You’ll also build for scale and reuse to bring those capabilities to our other partners. This is an individual contributor role that will work across the organization, iterate quickly in response to business needs, and collaborate effectively. 

 

Travel required, up to 25% of the time.

 

What you'll do:

  • Work alongside our merchant account, product, and engineering teams to implement Upside’s products at our merchant partners
  • Describe how Upside’s products work from both a business and technical perspective
  • Work with merchant technology teams to implement and support Upside’s products
  • Build implementation and support playbooks to enable scale and repeatability

What you need:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with retail technologies such as: NCR ENCOR, LOC SMS, ECRS, NCR StoreLine, Toshiba ELERA, NCR Connected Payments, AURUS
  • Experience implementing gift card issuer technologies such as Worldpay Valutec, Worldpay Premier, First Data Valuelink
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, fail and grow while working on small teams
  • Ability to design, document, and communicate technical architecture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills especially in partner-facing scenarios

The fine print:

Location:This hybrid role is required to work at our DC, Chicago, Austin or NYC office for 2 days/week.
