Position: Software Engineering Manager (NOC20012)
About the Role
As a Software Engineering Manager at Keep Technologies Corp, you will play a pivotal role in driving our engineering projects to success. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about technology and innovation, and who can inspire and direct a talented team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in the creation, development, and review of technical projects and the broader engineering activities of the department.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor staff, focusing on the development and maintenance of their skills in key areas.
- Effectively allocate, manage, and appraise the technical tasks of both departmental and project-specific groups.
- Oversee and secure necessary resources for project completion, encompassing the drafting of work specifications, formulation of project timelines, budgeting, risk assessment, and the selection of materials, equipment, team members, and external contractors.
- Establish and uphold guidelines, norms, and processes within the engineering and technical realms of the department.
- Assume responsibility for the oversight of organizational projects, aligning them with business objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy and excellence of comprehensive project plans that integrate all team functions.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams towards the achievement of stipulated goals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Employment Type: Full-Time Position
Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to the US or Mexico (1-2 times per year) for team gatherings.
Salary Range: $128,005 - $200,000 CAD Yearly

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in engineering and project management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in staff recruitment, supervision, and development.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean).
- A strong technical background with an understanding of engineering domains relevant to our projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Robust problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards, norms, and regulations.
- Strategic thinking skills aligned with organizational objectives.
- Certifications such as PMP, CEM, etc., are advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
