Hydrolix is a fast growing startup that is revolutionizing the world of data management and analytics. As we continue to scale, we’re seeking an experienced Director Solutions Engineering, APJ to lead our APJ Solutions Architecture Organization. The Director will have Presales and Technical Account Manager (TAM) teams reporting to them within the APJ region. This role requires close alignment with the regional sales leader and global peers to ensure that local market, customer, and partner needs are met. As the Director of Solutions Architecture, APJ, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the successful achievement of sales targets and growth targets across the region to a wide variety of customers, partners, and ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Using a sales first mindset, work with regional sales leaders and global peers to align presales and TAM teams, prioritizing to meet regional business objectives.
- Oversee technical validation in sales cycles, including service delivery operations, including presales, implementation, and support. Drive efficiency, quality, and scalability in each of these areas.
- Understand and address local market, customer, and partner needs and development, tailoring service delivery approaches to address regional nuances.
- Oversee the assignment and prioritization of customer and partner tasks to ensure timely and successful service delivery, meeting customer requirements.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, train, support career development for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Design, develop and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Or equivalent and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing a Presales/field facing organization in a SaaS/MaaS/PaaS environment with a proven track record of growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- A customer-centric mindset, passionate for ensuring customer success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration, comfortable working with diverse teams.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving in a fast paced environment.
- Can do attitude and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter who can demonstrate development, growth, and expansion of a territory
- Business-level English skills
- Willing to commute for business trips in region, and multiple times a year to other regions for company meetings - US, Canada, etc
