Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) who enjoys building modern software and exploring how AI can improve products, workflows and developer productivity. Join us in Hamburg and help shape digital solutions at the intersection of logistics and decarbonization.

In this dynamic environment, you will help ensure that the operational processes of shipping companies, freight forwarders, and ports run smoothly, enabling all participants in global transport chains to work together effectively.

The role includes working on agile software projects for our customers and contributing to the further development of our cloud-based products such as Fleettracker, VesselReport and the MRV Cockpit. It also involves evaluating and implementing AI-supported features, improving internal development workflows with AI tools, and identifying practical use cases that create value for users.

Your profile:

· Experience with AI-assisted software development

· Interest in building and integrating AI-powered product features

· Solid understanding of software engineering principles and pragmatic application

· Proficiency in at least one backend language, ideally PHP

· Experience with Symfony or Laravel

· Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

· Confident use of common development tools, including Git, modern IDEs, & automated testing

· Comfortable working with existing codebases and improving them step by step

· Ability to write clear technical documentation in English

· Familiarity with Linux and the command line

A conceptual way of thinking, good communication skills, an open and collaborative approach and an independent, goal-oriented working style complete your profile.

Nice to have

· Experience building AI-powered product features (e.g. LLM APIs, agents, automation workflows)

· Experience in the maritime sector

· Frontend experience (e.g. Vue.js, React)

· Knowledge of implementing CQRS and DDD

· Cloud Infrastructure
