Full-Stack Developer
Orbit Lane is a creative agency based in Old Town Pasadena. Simply put: OL leverages clean, cutting design to effectively communicate what ought to be said. Deftly balancing innovation with tried and true techniques, Orbit Lane assists a variety of small business and startups to establish a voice, command a space, and grow their business.
Job Description
About the Role
This is a part-time, entry-level Developer position (not a temporary internship). We're looking for someone with 0-3 years of experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow their skills.
A big benefit of this role is the 1-on-1 mentorship. Our lead developer and co-founder will be personally coaching you. You won't be just closing tickets; you'll be learning how to build, deploy, and scale real-world applications from start to finish. It's an ideal "apprenticeship" role. A bonus is an entrepreneurial-spirited developer who may want to build and deploy their own apps.
Time Commitment
We're looking for 15-20 hours per week and could be more if you are interested. The schedule is 100% flexible to work around other commitments. We are based in Philadelphia but work can be done remotely.
Compensation
The rate is $2,400 - $4,000/month (as a 1099 contractor), depending on experience.

The Tech
We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in React and JavaScript. Ideally a full-stack developer who understands the full pipeline. We don't expect you to know our full stack on day one. Our stack is modern (Next.js, Supabase, Vercel), and we're excited to teach it to someone with a strong passion for learning.
