As a Senior Product Designer, You Will

  • Design industry-leading mobile and web experiences that simplify user interaction with healthcare plans.
  • Transform user insights into modern, intuitive designs that meet diverse audience needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Content Strategists, Copywriters, and Researchers, to ensure cohesive UX deliverables.
  • Advocate for the user perspective, building consensus and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Uphold and contribute to enterprise design standards, ensuring consistent application of design principles, styles, and patterns.
  • Balance ideal user experience with practical feasibility and delivery constraints.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business objectives, target audiences, product roadmaps, design trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop early design sketches and prototypes to inform the user experience.
  • Understand and align to enterprise design standards, contributing to the design system when appropriate.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer, or Interaction Designer.
  • A portfolio showcasing compelling user experiences that balance business goals, technical feasibility, design standards, and user needs.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, stay focused, and manage multiple projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics and user research methodologies.
  • Experience designing within technical and business constraints.
  • Adaptability in tailoring processes and deliverables to meet project needs and enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing complex transactional user interfaces and interactions.
  • Experience creating conceptual models, site maps, interaction flows, design patterns, and design specifications.
  • Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions.
  • Proven ability to iterate and deliver digital products within an agile environment.
  • Proficiency in Figma.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from a credible bootcamp, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience designing inclusive and accessible solutions, particularly for senior adults.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with online usability testing platforms (e.g., UserZoom, UserTesting.com).
  • Excellent analytical, process-oriented, verbal, written, and presentation skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43 to $48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
