Your designs will directly impact how users interact with critical platforms, streamlining processes and improving the overall experience for everyone.

Ready to shape the future of learning? This exciting Senior Product Designer role offers the chance to create user-centered designs for a mission-driven organization. You’ll be a key player in a dynamic team, collaborating with product owners, engineers, and fellow designers to build and enhance products that support internal operations. Your work will drive efficiency, simplify complex processes, and ultimately improve the experience for both internal and external users.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions to align teams and identify opportunities.
  • Create user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Apply and contribute to design systems, maintaining visual and functional consistency.
  • Write and test content using plain language principles for clarity and accessibility.
  • Conduct usability and A/B testing to validate design decisions.
  • Perform accessibility audits to meet inclusive design standards.
  • Design responsive, mobile-first experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the design and development lifecycle.
  • Present design solutions and research findings clearly and confidently.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the team’s design culture.

Must-Haves:

  • A portfolio showcasing your work.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (interaction design, HCI, industrial design, information science, social sciences, computer science, graphic design, etc.) and/or equivalent years of work experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience in product or service design, with a focus on complex, content-rich websites and applications.
  • Proficiency in design thinking and human-centered methodologies.
  • Strong skills in information design, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI design, with fluency in tools like Figma, Miro, and Dovetail.
  • Experience with generative and evaluative research methods.
  • Solid understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • A passion for user-centered design and a commitment to continuous learning.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with front-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63 to $70 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
