Opportunity Available

Sony Electronics Inc. has an opportunity available for a Product Manager within the Imaging Solutions organization, based in San Diego Headquarters. This person will be responsible for Interchangeable Lens Camera (ILC) and Lens category product management.

This position requires the understanding of ILC/Lens industry and product knowledge as a baseline. In addition, this position requires close collaborative work with relevant teams (Business Management team, Marketing team, Sales team, CET team and HQ Marketing team) to align the strategy and cascade down to the execution plan to maximize ILC/Lens business.

Responsibilities

New models launch related task
Competitive analysis and product strategy building
Product Training for both Sony internal/external people
Technical feedback
Tradeshow, Event, Workshop attend
Business Travel approximate 25%

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Product Engineering or Business-related degree
5-7 years of related working experience in Camera industry
Strong analytical background and product savvy
Advanced Power Point and Editing Photo/Video proficiency
Experience with market and customer segmentation analysis
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Solid oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Skills

Experience in the consumer electronics industry
Experience with designing, implementing, and reviewing results from surveys
Demonstrable experience with data cleansing

Salary Range

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,108 to $148,143.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits, paid medical leave, a 401k plan, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
