Quality Assurance and Engineering Lead

MGMA is looking for a QE/QA Lead to elevate our software quality strategy—guiding everything from test automation pipelines to best-in-class QA processes.

What You’ll Do:
- Set the Standard: Develop and drive the QA and QE strategy, ensuring alignment with development goals and business priorities.
- Test Hands-On: Write and execute test cases, contribute directly to testing efforts, and lead by example.
- Measure What Matters: Define and track quality metrics that highlight what’s working—and what needs improvement.
- Lead with Impact: Build, refine, and own automated testing pipelines within our CI/CD lifecycle.
- Own the Process: Create and document clear, consistent QA methodologies and ensure adoption across teams.
- Foster Growth: Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with developers, product managers, and engineers to define test strategies, interpret results, and ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring:
- A desire to constantly improve how quality is delivered, measured, and celebrated.
- A blend of technical skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance.
- A deep understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies—across functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
- A mix of strong technical skills paired with great communication—you can explain testing insights to both devs and execs.
- An ability to lead and mentor team members and contract professionals.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high attention to detail.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five (5) + years of experience in QE/QA, with demonstrated leadership in managing quality across agile environments.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD tooling, and modern cloud platforms
- Advanced QA/QE certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
