As a Software Engineer at PAM Transport, Inc., you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for transforming our legacy systems into modern, efficient counterparts. Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The pay range is $90,000 - $120,000 dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that modernize our IBM i environment.
- Develop, maintain, test, and debug software programs, architecture and database designs that support our digital transformation goals.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
- Continuously learn and apply new skills and languages to improve our systems and processes.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, a related field, or a combination of education and demonstrable experience.
- Proven experience in software architecture and database design.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as RPG ILE, Java, Python, Node, or JavaScript.
- Passionate about software engineering and eager to learn new technologies.
- Ability to design and develop software utilizing modern frameworks and development principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
