Senior Software Engineer
As a Senior Software Engineer within Cartus, you will be part of our Product & Technology organization focused on Internal Applications. This team plays a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the business systems and applications that support our internal operations.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the needs of our internal stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements. The Senior Software Engineer plays a critical role in supporting our internal operations with over 1,200 users. You will leverage your engineering expertise to create robust and scalable applications that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal processes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years professional experience as a code-contributing member of an Agile Development Team
- Exemplary working knowledge and skills with C#/.NET
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, NodeJS, Typescript/Javascript, Angular, and SQL Server
- Fluent in working with Git and Gitlab
- Familiarity with multiple branching models, including Gitflow and Trunk-based development
- Excellent analytical ability and logical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to appropriately tailor messages for the audience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD process
- Knowledge of both Azure and AWS and hands-on experience working with at least one of these cloud providers.
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Functions is a plus.
- Regular user of AI models and AI-based tools, having completed at least one business initiative using AI.
- Experience working with global teams in a remote work environment spanning multiple time zones.
