Technical Co-Founder

Find Your People is a female-owned social enterprise startup. It builds a recruiter-led, de-identified talent marketplace for casual hiring in construction and healthcare.

The platform aims to reduce bias and improve hiring speed. Recruiters upload vetted candidates. Employers can then find candidates directly.

The company plans an MVP pilot with three employer groups and ten recruitment agencies in early 2027.

Opportunity

This role offers an equity stake after a small project trial. Salary starts after funding or revenue goals are met. The company asks for volunteer work under an agreement until it meets these goals.

This role suits a person who wants part ownership in a large-scale business.

Role

The Technical Co-Founder will lead the MVP build and set the technical base for future growth.

This is a hands-on senior CTO or Senior Engineer role. The person will work with non-technical co-founders on business strategy, sales, marketing, participant experience, and work efficiency.

Duties

• Lead MVP architecture and development through Google Cloud Storage.
• Convert product workflows into scalable system designs.
• Make sound technical and commercial decisions.
• Use early-stage capital with care.
• Create a clean, maintainable codebase.
• Design and deliver technical solutions.
• Oversee product development and the full life cycle of digital tools.
• Set technical standards.
• Assess new technology.
• Keep systems secure, reliable, and aligned with the company mission.
• Use AI-supported development tools, such as Claude Code, with strong engineering judgment.

Required experience

• Advanced commercial software development experience.
• Strong Firebase and Google Cloud experience.
• Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and React experience.
• Serverless architecture experience.
• MVP or early-product delivery experience.

Formal education in computer science is valued. Equivalent practical experience or mentoring also qualifies.

Useful experience

• ATS or CRM integrations.
• SaaS or marketplace platforms.
• Privacy-sensitive system design.
• React Native.
