This role is critical to enabling effective pricing governance, non standard deal management, and approval execution, while ensuring close collaboration across Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Channel, and Operations.

This role acts as the operational backbone between Sales, Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Sales Operations to ensure deals are structured correctly, approved efficiently, documented accurately, and compliant with internal policies.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment and business acumen, with the ability to influence deal strategy while maintaining policy compliance, margin discipline, and operational efficiency. • Assist sales on securing approvals by helping them present the opportunities on Executive Deal review Calls.

Process Optimization & Scale

  • Support special projects related to pricing, governance, and Deal Desk process improvements as needed
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, eliminate redundant approvals, and improve cycle time.
  • Support documentation of best practices, approval flows, and deal support playbooks.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives using Salesforce capabilities and AI/LLM tools where applicable.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

  • Proven Deal Desk or Commercial Operations experience supporting large, complex enterprise deals in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce, particularly:

  • Advanced Excel skills for deal analysis, modeling, and scenario evaluation (experience leveraging Copilot/AI tools strongly preferred).
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, quarter‑end driven environment with flexibility in working hours supporting multiple timezones.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline preferred.

Nozomi Networks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base pay scale for this position is $89,000 - $110,000. AI Integrations Engineer

We protect the world’s critical infrastructure from cyber threats.

lMcU
Jrw3
TP7V
S5XP

Nozomi Networks is looking for an AI Integrations Engineer to build the connective tissue that lets our business users get the most out of our AI tool stack. You will partner with users across a variety of business functions to build cutting-edge agentic solutions. Your job will be to make sure those agents have everything they need to be useful: secure connections to our systems, clean data from our warehouse, well-designed APIs, and a robust Google Cloud–based architecture that scales.

This is a high-leverage role. Every integration you build may be reused across dozens of agents and hundreds of users. You'll work closely with data, security, and platform teams, and you'll be the go-to expert when business users hit the limits of what their no-code agents can do on their own.

In this role you will:

  • Build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose internal systems, data, and tools to our AI platforms in a secure, governed way
  • Develop and document APIs that AI agents can call to read from and write to our CRM, ERP, and other systems of record
  • Design and implement the backend AI architecture on Google Cloud, including Vertex AI, Vertex AI Agent Builder, Apigee, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Workflows, and related services
  • Build and optimize data pipelines that feed our data warehouse with the clean, structured, AI-ready data that agents depend on
  • Partner with business users building agents — help them scope what's possible, unblock them when integrations are needed, and turn their prototypes into production-grade workflows
  • Implement authentication, authorization, logging, and observability across all integrations so we have a clear picture of how AI is being used and what it's accessing
  • Establish patterns, reusable connectors, and internal documentation so each new integration is faster than the last
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure AI access to sensitive data follows the right controls

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

  • 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience
  • Strong data engineering skills: SQL, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and hands-on experience with a modern cloud data warehouse (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift)
  • Hands-on integration experience with at least one major CRM and at least one major ERP— including their APIs, data models, and quirks
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud services for application and data workloads — Cloud Run or Cloud Functions, Apigee or API Gateway, Secret Manager, Cloud IAM, and one of BigQuery, Dataflow, or Cloud Data Fusion
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript
  • Experience designing and shipping REST APIs that other teams or systems consume
  • Solid understanding of authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, service accounts, Workload Identity Federation)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience building MCP servers or other AI tool/function-calling integrations
  • Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns — including Vertex AI Vector Search or AlloyDB / BigQuery vector capabilities
  • Background supporting business or "citizen developer" users — comfort translating non-technical asks into technical design
  • Knowledge of data governance, PII handling, and AI safety/compliance frameworks

About Us and Why We’re Hiring

We’re YNAB (“why-nab”), a product company with a mission: to help people get good at money so they never worry about money again. For over 20 years, YNAB has been changing lives—and people can’t stop telling their friends about it. Think: debt paid off, marriages strengthened, goals achieved, stress erased, and sleep finally restored. But don’t just take our word for it—dive into our vibrant communities on FacebookInstagram, and Reddit (really!) or skim through our glowing app reviews. You’ll quickly see why people rave about YNAB and why we’re so passionate about creating something that truly changes lives for the better.

Join us! YNAB’s software ecosystem includes apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android phones, and web. We have some big plans for our iOS app, and that’s where you come in! You’ll help us build easy and joyful consumer‑facing experiences across the entire Apple ecosystem, while working with modern Swift tools, thoughtfully shared logic, a nice CI/CD pipeline, and plenty of room to ship impactful things. If this resonates with you, you’re our target audience—please read on.

What We’re Looking For

Hard Requirements

For this role, you must:

  • Live in the United States, in Mountain, Central, or Eastern Time. (Or able to work Mountain hours if you’re in Pacific Time.)
  • Be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or employer participation in an immigration-related work authorization process, now or in the future.
  • Have at least five years of professional software development experience.
  • Have at least three years of experience writing native iOS apps.
  • Have experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode & Instruments, and XCTest / XCUITest.
  • Be confident and curious about using AI to do your job better, while knowing what is not worth outsourcing.

Preferred Qualifications

These aren’t required, but are likely to set you up for success:

  • Experience with SQL, Kotlin, and/or JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Experience with OCR technologies or frameworks.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with fullstack and/or Android engineers, product managers, and designers.

Note: If you believe you’re a fit for this role, but don’t meet our preferred qualifications, we still encourage you to apply. While our hard requirements are non-negotiable, we’re otherwise open-minded, and don’t need you to be the “perfect” candidate on paper.

That’s a quick snapshot of what we’re looking for. Before we go further, let’s make sure you’re excited about working with us. We’ll share more about YNAB, then dive into the role details and application process (be sure to read all the way to the end!).

Life at YNAB

YNAB started in 2004 and we haven’t taken any outside funding—we’re established, profitable, and in this for the long haul. We have one overarching requirement when it comes to joining our team: our original Core Value Manifesto has to really click with you. If you’re nodding emphatically while reading it, you’ll probably really like it here!

We live our Core Values every day at YNAB, and we mean it when we say we are an equal-opportunity employer. We believe that a diversity of backgrounds, abilities, beliefs, and experiences is critical to our success, and we are passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative environment for all employees. All are encouraged to apply as we continue to grow a smart, hard-working, and diverse team that loves working together to build something that matters.

We also work really hard, together, to make working at YNAB an amazing experience, and we’re (humbly) proud to have received many of Fortune’s “great place to work” awards over the last several years, including #1 two years in a row! We have a team full of truly exceptional people—the kind you’ll be excited to work with.

Who You’ll Work With

Our Engineering team is about 45 people strong, including a tight-knit group of eight iOS developers. We operate in cross-functional teams, so you’ll get to work with awesome people from all different roles in the company.

Regardless of their varied interests, all of our developers have one thing in common: They are a joy to work with. You won’t find heated arguments and raised voices here. We save our competitive spirit for YNAB’s external competitors (or the occasional online game session), but internally we build up our teammates and celebrate their successes. We all love to program and solve problems in creative ways, and we regularly take time to geek out and show each other something cool we built or found to make our lives easier.

And of course, as a developer, you’ll work closely with PM and Design. Our Product Managers are all about clarity and collaboration. They’re great at setting the stage, understanding needs, mapping out priorities, and inviting and valuing engineering input. And our designers are truly amazing, with the awards (including at least one actual Emmy®) to prove they’re good at designing stuff. YNAB designers welcome feedback and suggestions during the development process and are happy to tweak an interaction if you tell them it will save you significant development effort. With both PM and Design at YNAB, it’s refreshingly not “just build this”; it’s “let’s figure out the best way together.”

How You’ll Work at YNAB

Now that you’ve learned about some of your future teammates, let’s talk more about what it’s like to work here.

Building a Good Company

At YNAB, we think one of the best things we can offer is the chance to do meaningful work alongside people you respect, admire, and genuinely enjoy. And we mean that—from the beginning, we’ve been intentional about creating the company we want to work for.

Along the way, we’ve learned that great teams aren’t built on perks or fancy titles—they’re built by bringing together high performers who thrive on tough challenges and share a commitment to doing exceptional work. We value discipline and ownership over unnecessary layers of process, and look for people who wake up excited to get important things done.

That’s the team we’re building at YNAB: one that cares deeply, works pragmatically, and always finds time to laugh (mostly at ourselves).

Responsibility and Empowerment

We trust our team. We respect each person’s expertise and judgment—and we empower you to make the calls you think are right. We know mistakes happen—and that’s okay. Taking smart risks and exploring new ideas is how we grow. When things don’t go as planned, we learn fast, adjust, and keep moving forward.

We’re big on collaboration, too. We aim for just enough structure to keep things moving smoothly, and when decisions need to be made, we make sure there’s a clear owner. But: You're never on your own here. Whether you need feedback, a gut check, or someone to jump in and help out, we’ve got your back. We take ownership of our work and our outcomes—together.

Live (Almost) Anywhere in the U.S.

We’ve always been a fully remote team, and have people all over the world. For this particular position, however, we have two restrictions that we can’t make exceptions on. We can only consider candidates who 1) live in the United States, in Mountain, Central, or Eastern Time (or able to work Mountain hours if you’re in Pacific Time) and 2) are authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship or employer participation in an immigration-related work authorization process (now or in the future). Whew. Now that we got all that legalese out of the way, let’s keep talking about the fun stuff!

Work Four Days a Week

We’ve adopted a four-day work week and rarely work more than that. There are occasions and seasons where things get busy and people put some extra time in—but then we encourage them to take some extra time off, too. We’re a product-led organization that takes our work-life balance seriously, so we all prioritize working hard and smart, but at a measured pace. We care deeply about what we do, but we also love our families and about 2,000 other things. We have perspective and, ultimately, we think it makes us—and our work—even better.

Flex Your Work Schedule

As a remote team, a lot of our work is done asynchronously—but we also love working together in real time. We try to schedule most meetings from 11am-2pm Eastern, Monday-Thursday. Outside of your meetings, we trust you to set your schedule by balancing your team’s needs with your own needs. You don’t need to ask for permission to take off early for an afternoon appointment, or be “active” on Slack if you’re working deeply on a project. We look at what you accomplish, not how long you're in front of a computer.

Take Vacation (Seriously)

We want you to take vacation. In fact, we have a minimum vacation policy of three weeks per year. Five weeks feels about right (plus two extra weeks for our company-wide December Break). It’s important to get plenty of downtime and to get out and do something. We’ll look forward to seeing pictures of your adventures in our #office-wall Slack channel!

Meet the Team IRL

We love remote work around here, but we also love getting together in person. You’ll generally have the opportunity to meet with your YNAB teammates at least once a year, at a small-team work-focused meetup or at our biennial company retreat. At the YNAB retreat, we love to catch up on spreadsheets and powerpoints in a Best Western conference room. Just kidding. To give you an idea, we’ve been to Costa Rica, a gigantic cabin in the mountains, a ranch in Montana, Palm Springs, Cape Cod, and most recently, Hilton Head. We work together, play together, and strengthen the bonds we’ve made as a team and company. At the end of each retreat, we feel energized, inspired, and excited to tackle the work ahead.

Up Your Game

We’re serious about helping you improve your craft, and will provide you with a professional development stipend each year. Think conferences, online courses, coaching, and dedicated time away from work to learn something new. We love to see our people grow!

Other Benefits

Our team is spread all over the world—mostly in the United States, but also in the UK, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and several other countries. Everyone is eligible for our generous paid family leave, vacation, holidays, and sick time.

Since you’re based in the United States, you’ll also be eligible for our health, dental, and vision insurance, where we cover 100% of the premium for you and your family. No need to check your vision, you read that right—100%. (Although if you did need to check your vision, NBD, we’ve got you covered!)

We also have a Traditional and Roth 401(k) option, where YNAB matches your contributions up to six percent with immediate vesting. (Are you a personal finance junkie like our founder Jesse? He set up YNAB’s 401k to have the lowest fee structure possible, where all plan costs are paid by YNAB, not your retirement nest egg. The investment funds available are fantastic, passively-managed, ultra low-cost index funds. Not a PF junkie? Trust us, it’s awesome.)

Competitive Compensation

At YNAB, we are dedicated to providing equitable, market-driven, and data-informed compensation, along with a competitive benefits package. The starting salary for this role will range from $145,000 - $190,000 USD annually. (This covers a wide range of possible experiences; think of it like a bell curve. Most candidates fall somewhere around the midpoint.) You’ll also be eligible for an annual raise and profit-sharing twice a year. When YNAB succeeds, so do you—that’s the idea.

A Few Final Tidbits

  • Once you start, we DEMAND (in a friendly, ALL CAPS IS YELLING way) that you fill out your “Bucket List” spreadsheet with 50 items. We love to celebrate with you when you complete things on your bucket list!
  • We’ll also ask you (and your manager, and your friends, and maybe even your mom) what some of your favorite things are—we’ve got a “birthdays and other gifts” category in our spending plan, and we’re adding you to it.
  • We want you firing on all cylinders so we’ll set you up with a top-of-the-line computer and phone and will replace them regularly.
  • Did we mention that YNAB makes a huge, positive difference in people’s lives? You may not think that matters much, but then a few months down the road, you’ll realize it’s made your job really, really enjoyable. Don’t underestimate this!

If this sounds like your ideal environment, read on because now we want to talk about you, and how you’ll play a big part in changing people’s lives.

Now Back to You, Our New iOS Engineer....

As our new iOS engineer, you’ll need to be a pragmatic problem solver who takes ownership of your work and thrives in a collaborative environment.

It takes the entire Engineering team to keep YNAB “the software” up and humming. Our engineers work together, which helps ensure we have sound designs and that our code and systems are efficient, maintainable, and as bug-free as possible. You’ll work with other engineers and QA, collaborate on technical strategies and methodologies, and review each other’s work. You’ll also regularly engage with other departments: with a customer support representative on reproduction steps for a bug, with a designer to iterate on a feature, or with a PM on the technical feasibility of product ideas.

At YNAB, solving engineering problems means communicating early, often, and thoughtfully across the company. You’ll need to meet our high standards for clear, empathetic communication, and address issues directly with a respectful and constructive approach. There’s not a lot of ego around here, even though we are very proud of the outcomes we achieve together, and this is reflected in our communication style.

Your Day-to-Day

  • You’ll be embedded in a product team whose focus is making transaction entry seamless for YNAB users. You’ll work alongside a PM, product designer, QA analyst, support specialist, and a few other fullstack engineers (you’ll be the sole mobile engineer on this team, at least for now). Your work on the product team will include:
    • Brainstorming with product team members on new features and changes to existing functionality.
    • Reviewing UI/UX designs and offer product-related design suggestions and platform-specific feedback.
    • Working with PMs and designers to provide technical feasibility and effort guidance and break down designs into tightly scoped development plans.
    • Working with Support to investigate and solve tricky customer issues.
    • Collaborating with QA to ensure our combined testing methods give us confidence in our quality.
    • And, of course: Architecting, designing, developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining code for product initiatives, platform roadmaps, and infrastructure projects.
  • You’ll periodically serve as the Mobile Release Owner, which includes:
    • Shepherding the next version of the iOS app through the mobile release process.
    • Being the single point of contact for the release.
    • Driving solutions and enlisting help from others for any issues or regressions found during the release flow.
  • You’ll also help monitor and maintain all aspects of our iOS platform. For example:
    • Proactively fixing production-related issues.
    • Keeping an eye on system logs and crash reports.
    • Staying current on iOS trends and upcoming versions.
    • Applying security patches and updating third-party libraries.

Our Engineering Team

  • Our Engineering department features a unique peer-to-peer, non-hierarchical leadership style with separate roles for technical stewardship and people management.
  • You may also eventually have the opportunity to contribute to the Engineering team in an additional capacity. For example, you could in time serve as a:
    • DRI (Directly Responsible Individual). A DRI is the point person for one area of our technology. A DRI may not be the technical expert in all aspects of their area, but they keep us pointed in the right direction. And, while we enjoy consensus, DRIs can make a call if necessary to keep us moving forward.
    • People manager. Engineering managers at YNAB don’t dictate priorities or assign resources. Instead, they serve as the connection between their reports and the company. Engineering managers often do not work on the same project or even in the same platform stack as the people they manage, so this role is less about giving technical feedback (we rely on peers for that) and more about having an affinity for the people side of things, being great at helping others flourish.
  • Both the DRI and Engineering Manager roles are part-time, only requiring a portion of each workweek. This allows DRIs and managers to remain individual contributors first and foremost—a key part of our structure and culture.
  • These additional roles are not promotions but simply different ways of contributing.

Our iOS Tech Stack

In case this helps you determine your interest and fit, here’s a glimpse of some of the tech you’ll encounter:

  • You’d be stepping into a mature codebase with native UI and app infrastructure combined with cross-platform shared business logic in a client-server setting.
  • The native side is a modern Swift codebase. Extensive use of Swift Concurrency. UIKit appears in older flows, but newer work is SwiftUI. A tiny Objective‑C layer remains for long‑lived utilities.
  • The app is highly modular, split into many internal Swift Package Manager modules, and grouped into Core, Application, and Presentation packages—so you don’t have to recompile the world when you change one feature.
  • Feature flags, “Labs” builds, and a dedicated “Debug” module makes it easy to experiment and roll changes out gradually.
  • We share cross-platform business logic through a packaged JavaScript library and Kotlin Multiplatform. It’s a big plus if you have a little experience with TypeScript or Kotlin.
  • The app is local-first: data is stored in SQLite through FMDB with a custom query layer and background‑sync engine.
  • Swift Package Manager manages dependencies and internal modules. Fastlane drives build configurations with Match handling certificates and provisioning profiles. Bitrise runs these pipelines. Around that sit a Makefile, Bash and Ruby helper scripts, SwiftLint, and some other niceties that run automatically.
  • There are multiple app surfaces: native App Intents, WidgetKit widgets, plus a basic watchOS companion.
  • While we have a QA team to help, quality is developer-driven. We have dedicated Unit and UI test targets, and run them automatically in CI. A home‑grown page‑object framework and many helper extensions keep UI tests readable and (comparatively) easy to develop.

That’s a lot of bullet points, but let’s still say that your success as an iOS engineer at YNAB will depend on you being a systems thinker who loves to collaborate with others to solve problems. In doing so, you’ll need to consider a solution’s entire architecture and lifespan, and think deeply about the implications of various technical choices, including scalability, security, pragmatism, and future maintenance. You’ll measure your success not just by code shipped or isolated tasks completed, but by problems effectively solved and value added to the overall project. It’s this combination of ownership and teamwork that ensures that our applications and the different parts of our software work well together, ultimately improving the overall quality of our tech.

If this sounds like your kind of place, we can’t wait to hear from you.

How to Apply

Submit your application (including what’s listed below) by Sunday, June 7th at 11:59pm PT. Firm. It’s a real deadline.

What to Include in Your Application

  • A resume. If you don’t have an updated formal resume, that’s fine! An informal overview of your work history and education is all we’re looking for.
  • A cover letter and answers to a few specific questions. But not your typical cover letter. You have our permission to NOT be formal, just help us get to know you.
    • On page 1: We’d love for you to tell us a bit about yourself, what drew you to iOS development, why you’re interested in this role at YNAB, and why you think you’d be a great fit.
  • On page 2 onward: Please answer these three questions:
      • 1. How have you honed your craft as a developer, and how do you see yourself continuing to develop your skills in the future? We’d love to hear specific strategies, sources of information or inspiration, and/or your general approach. Please answer in no more than 2 paragraphs.
      • 2. Tell us about a time you pushed for something at work, but a different direction was chosen. What did you do? How did it turn out? Please answer in no more than 3 paragraphs.
    • 3. Imagine you’re our new iOS Engineer and you’re reviewing a pull request from a teammate who has spent the past two weeks building a major feature. They’re clearly proud of it and excited to ship. But you can see the approach has a fundamental architectural problem—it’s going to cause performance issues and be difficult to maintain. Addressing it properly would mean rethinking a significant portion of the work. Please draft a 1-2 paragraph comment as if you’re addressing your teammate directly.

Tips

  • If you meet our hard requirements and follow the application instructions, we promise a real human will review your materials. With that being said: Please be yourself! We want to get to know you, not AI.
  • Keep an eye out for an email from @pinpoint.email titled Thank you for applying to YNAB! This confirms your application has been received. If you don’t see that email, we probably didn’t get your application—please try again.
  • Click here for an outline of what this hiring process will look like. It’s rigorous, but truthfully, people say it’s fun!

We’re excited to hear from you!

P.S. If you’re not interested in this position right now, but know someone who might be, we’d appreciate you passing this along!

Founding Product Engineer

Generative AI tools for radically easier, more equitable, and affordable government communications and services.

K4X3

Full-time, Remote, U.S. (with a preference for candidates based in the Research Triangle, NC or Southern California)

Compensation: $180,000 - $230,000 plus meaningful founding-engineer equity

Who we are

Visible or not, your life, like everyone’s around you, is continuously and seriously shaped by the government services you receive. Whether it is a phone call about benefits, a form to stay enrolled in a program, a missed voicemail from a local agency, or a long wait to get a simple answer, how government serves people changes daily lives and lifetime outcomes.

At CivicReach, we are building technology that helps people get the critical services they need.

Our focus is the social safety net. We work with government agencies and nonprofit organizations that help residents navigate benefits, housing, food, child welfare, community resources, and other essential supports. These agencies are facing overwhelming demand, limited staff, outdated systems, and rising expectations from the communities they serve.

CivicReach helps them answer every call, understand what residents need, complete screenings, make referrals, route urgent issues, and capture real-time service needs without forcing staff to do more with less.

We are evolving quickly. We have customers across 6 states, and our product is live and serving thousands of people every week. We are operating critical systems for agencies and helping people get the help they deserve every day.

We have a lot of work to do. We are looking for exceptional folks who care a whole lot about fixing the systems that deliver help to folks in this country.

Who you are

You will be our Product Engineer, an AI builder and CivicReach’s second engineer. You will work directly with our technical CEO and our Head of Engineering. Your job will be to turn our foundational platform into many product lines with many more use cases for everyone we serve.

You will build customer-facing AI capabilities that help agencies serve their communities better. You work across the stack, build clarity, think ambitiously and empathetically about users, understand how and why AI systems behave the ways they do, and use all of those skills to ship product in messy real-world conditions.

What you will do here

  • Build AI-powered product capabilities for social service agencies and residents
  • Turn customer needs into working software, even when the requirements are incomplete or changing
  • Improve CivicReach’s voice AI, screening, referral, routing, analytics, and case-management-adjacent capabilities
  • Work closely with customers, community members, and internal users to understand what is confusing, broken, slow, or missing
  • Design for edge cases, fallback paths, human handoffs, safety, privacy, and reliability
  • Bring a strong point of view about how AI products should behave when they are serving people in high-need, high-stakes contexts

You would be a great match if you have

  • Strong, defensible, and grounded opinions about building and reimagining AI-native products and interactions
  • Experience building AI “agents”, voice-first systems, RAG architectures, and NLP products.
  • Well-calibrated product instincts and user empathy
  • Strong instincts around privacy, security, observability, testing, and production operations
  • Experience building, shipping, and balancing learning-through-doing with disciplined experimentation in an ambiguous, fast paced environment
  • A scientific mindset—you build to test hypotheses, let data update your beliefs, and can say "I was wrong about X, here's what the evidence shows."
  • Deep interest in social services, government, civic technology, or public-sector service delivery
  • Clear communication habits, especially when articulating tradeoffs or changing your mind on evidence

You will stand out if you have also

  • Built production AI "agents" at scale—orchestration, tool use, guardrails, and evaluation infrastructure
  • Built software for government, benefits, social services, nonprofits, or other high-trust environments such as healthcare or education
  • Built products used by frontline staff or by people navigating crises or other stressful life situations

You absolutely need to have

  • Optimism, pragmatism, rigor, transparency, intrepidness, and genuine care for the work and the people it touches

What success looks like

In your first 30 days, you understand the product, customers, architecture, and team workflow. You’ve shipped at least one meaningful product improvement and built trust across the whole team. (We promise, we’re nice!)

In your first 60 days, you own a customer-facing product capability or feature area. You’re showing strong judgment around user experience, AI behavior, and reliability.

In your first 90 days, you’re independently shipping product features from problem definition through deployment. You’re helping CivicReach move materially faster while improving product quality and reliability.

Longer term, you’ll help define what product engineering means at CivicReach as we continue to scale. The natural growth path is toward a top IC or a functional engineering or product leadership position, depending on where your interests develop and how the company scales.

How we work

We are a small team. That means your work will matter immediately.

We care about speed, but hate chaos. We care about AI, but are allergic to hype. Most importantly, we care about users—especially folks asking for help, and agency staff who are often dealing with stressful, complicated, under-resourced systems.

The best engineers in this next era of software are empathetic, scientific builders. You design experiments. You ship to test hypotheses. You use AI tooling fluently and hold opinions about where it helps—and where it doesn’t. You hold a high bar on product quality and reliability, and think carefully about how to measure it. You know how production software works at scale, and you are constantly working at the system level to make the product, the platform, and the systems of shipping code more reliable, more repeatable, and more useful to us and ultimately to our agency customers. You are a technical specialist who moves comfortably across every discipline of the company: research, customer success, design, and sales.

We both share values

  • Build Technology for Humans: You believe in the immense power of AI, are skeptical of how AI is often implemented, and want to channel AI done right into tools that help folks who can most benefit
  • Invest in our collective success: You are driven by a sense of ownership
  • Collaborate With Everyone: You treat users, customers, teammates, and everyone as equal, mission-critical partners. You always seek to bring in voices missing from the table
  • Stay Curious: You constantly ask “how might we?” and you seek out creative solutions to challenges other people don’t even notice
  • Evolve Toward Excellence: You keep yourself and our team moving in the same direction—to help everyone get the services they need. We all make mistakes and we all keep learning, adapting, and innovating as we go

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $180,000 - $230,000, depending on experience, seniority, scope, and cash/equity mix.

We are looking for someone to join this high-impact, 0-to-1 role where you will bridge the gap between strategy, partnerships, and product. You will not just design the offer, but take the lead on initial go-to-market activity—moving rapidly from prototype to MVP to launch and initial scale. Not only will  you report directly to our Founder and Chief Product Officer, Tom Eilon but this is a great opportunity if you’re looking to transition into a General Manager role of a business line in the future.

As a UK B Corp Certified salary sacrifice specialist, The Electric Car Scheme is on a mission to make net zero the obvious choice by making electric cars and other Net Zero Benefits easy, affordable and simple for employers to offer their people. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities within the Net Zero ecosystem, developing compelling value propositions that solve real customer problems while delivering commercial viability.
  • Investigate how aspects of the current offering of The Electric Car Scheme can be improved / optimised.
  • Take full ownership of the "0 to 1" lifecycle for new initiatives, leading the initial rollout, managing the prototype, MVP, and launch phases to validate product-market fit before scaling.
  • Source, negotiate, onboard, and manage strategic partners across the Auto, Energy, and Net Zero sectors.
  • Build the supply chain and commercial relationships required to bring new propositions to life.
  • Conduct rigorous market research and financial modelling to structure pricing, unit economics, and revenue models.
  • Act as the interim "Business Owner" for new propositions, coordinating efforts across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product/Tech to ensure successful launches without friction.
  • Lead initial customer discovery and early sales efforts for new lines to gather direct feedback and use this insight to pivot or refine the offering rapidly.
  • Track the success of launched propositions against commercial KPIs (conversion, margin, uptake) and operational metrics, ensuring we meet our growth objectives and scaling targets.
  • Present business cases and progress updates to the Founders and executive team, articulating the vision and progress of new ventures, securing necessary resources and alignment.

About you:

  • Proven experience in Proposition Design, Strategy, Commercial Product, or a "Founder Associate" style role in a high-growth environment.

  • Experience launching new products or business lines from scratch (0 to 1 experience).
  • Analytical skills with the ability to model unit economics and assess commercial viability.
  • A "General Manager" mindset: you are comfortable wearing multiple hats—from strategy and sales to operations—to get a new business line off the ground.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment where priorities can shift based on market feedback.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and the Net Zero transition.

  • Proficiency in C/C++, Go, and/or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of edge computing, AI platform development, or real-time data systems.
  • Experience building backend systems or APIs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Understanding of basic distributed systems concepts (e.g., scalability, latency, reliability)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containers or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or CI/CD pipelines
  • Interest in AI/ML systems or model deployment
  • Exposure to edge computing or real-time systems

  • Join a team that thrives on innovation and collaboration.
  • Work on cutting-edge technology bridging embedded systems, cloud computing, and AI applications
  • Collaborate with world-class engineers solving complex distributed systems challenges
  • High ownership, fast iteration, and opportunities to lead architecture and innovation initiatives
  • Competitive compensation, equity options, and a culture that values innovation and technical excellence.

Compensation range: $125,000 - $160,000. Actual position within the range will be determined based on experience level of the candidate.

Who We Are

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care. We do not replace existing care teams; we enhance them, providing an extra layer of support with compassion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to children with medical complexity.

What You’ll Do

As a Staff Data Engineer at Imagine Pediatrics, you will be the first dedicated Data Engineer on a hybrid team with Analytics Engineers, responsible for defining how data moves through our platform and owning the data pipelines that power clinical analytics, operational reporting, and external integrations.

You will ensure that data ingestion and integration decisions are made with a clear understanding of downstream analytical usage, including how data freshness, grain, and structure impact downstream processes and systems. You will partner closely with Analytics Engineers, Product Engineers and Platform Engineers to deliver a platform built for a high-growth, mission-driven healthcare organization. This role requires strong technical depth in data engineering, comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces, and the ability to influence across engineering and product teams.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines that ingest data from clinical systems, APIs, and third-party integrations utilizing webhook-based, API-based, and CDC (change data capture) approaches.
  • Architect and manage event-driven data pipelines in AWS — including cross-account configurations and dead-letter queue handling.
  • Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code to deploy and manage data ingestion workloads, primarily extending existing modules and patterns.
  • Orchestrate pipeline execution and monitoring using Dagster, ensuring observability and reliability across all workflows.
  • Implement data quality checks, alerting, and lineage tracking across the pipeline.
  • Identify and eliminate systemic failure modes in pipelines, improving reliability through long-term fixes rather than repeated incident remediation.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineers to ensure upstream data supports correct and consistent downstream models.
  • Set technical direction for data architecture and mentor other engineers.

What You Bring & How You Qualify

You are driven by curiosity and committed to reimagining pediatric healthcare — creating a world where every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and support they deserve. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and bring both engineering depth and a collaborative mindset. You enjoy owning systems end-to-end, thinking in systems, not just pipelines, and are comfortable working across infrastructure, data movement, and analytics workflows.

You are proactive, collaborative, and not afraid to push back on unclear assumptions. You communicate tradeoffs clearly and help teams make better technical decisions. You will need

  • Required
    • 7–10+ years of data engineering or platform engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a senior or staff-level role owning production data systems.
    • Strong experience designing data pipelines using Python and SQL.
    • Strong experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, and S3.
    • Strong experience building event-driven and API-based ingestion systems (e.g., webhooks, asynchronous processing, or CDC patterns).
    • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Dagster (or similar).
    • Experience working with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), primarily extending and adapting existing modules and patterns.
    • Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, including performance-aware SQL development.
    • Proficiency in at least one scripting language beyond SQL and Python (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go) for automation, tooling, or serverless functions.
    • Demonstrated use of modern software engineering practices including version control, CI/CD, testing, and code review.
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data and infrastructure issues across multiple systems and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to reason about downstream analytical impact of data pipeline design, including data freshness, grain, and transformation behavior.
    • Experience working closely with analytics engineering, data modeling, or similar downstream consumers of data.
  • Preferred
    • Experience designing or managing IAM policies and least-privilege access models across data platform services.
    • Experience with dbt or modern analytics engineering workflows.
    • Experience working with healthcare data, FHIR resources, or clinical systems
    • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling of PHI in cloud environments.
    • Experience with high-volume ingestion systems including webhook-based tools (e.g., Hevo, Fivetran, or similar).
    • Experience driving the adoption of AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
    • Exposure to real-world evidence (RWE), health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), or similar evidence-generation programs.

What We Offer (Benefits + Perks)

The target base salary for this position starts at $180-200k in addition to competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors including job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.

We provide these additional benefits and perks:

  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA; Company-funded HSA
  • 401(k) with 4% match, vested 100% from day one
  • Employer-paid short and long-term disability
  • Life insurance at 1x annual salary
  • 20 days PTO + 10 Company Holidays & 2 Floating Holidays
  • Paid new parent leave
  • Additional benefits to be detailed in offer

What We Live By

We’re guided by our five core values:

Our Values:

  • Children First. We put the best interests of children above all. We know that the right decision is always the one that creates more safe days at home for the children we serve today and in the future.
  • Earn Trust. We listen first, speak second. We build lasting relationships by creating shared understanding and consistently following through on our commitments.

  • One Team, Diverse Perspectives. We actively seek a range of viewpoints to achieve better outcomes. Even when we see things differently, we stay aligned on our shared mission and support one another to move forward — together.

We Value Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

We believe that creating a world where every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and support, they deserve requires a diverse team with diverse perspectives. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer. People seeking employment at Imagine Pediatrics are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, or characteristics (or those of a family member), pregnancy or other status protected by applicable law.

Lead Product Engineer

 •
The Collective Intelligence Project
1-50

We are an incubator designing new governance models for transformative technology.

lMcU
S5XP
p1w8

About CIP

The Collective Intelligence Project builds infrastructure that gives people across the globe meaningful input into how AI systems are developed and governed. We combine large-scale deliberation, participatory evaluation, and institutional partnerships in a way no lab, regulator, or civil society organization can achieve alone.

We're a small, high-leverage team backed by leading foundations (Google.org, Omidyar Network, Future of Life Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation) working with top AI labs and governments to ensure AI development expands democratic capacity rather than undermining it.

About the Role

We are hiring a product engineer to build and maintain full-stack platforms enriched with copious data, rich visualizations and easily-navigable user experiences. The overarching challenge is one of articulating complex and sometimes overwhelming data in a way that can be understood by mainstream audiences, journalists, academics, and fellow engineers.

You'll start by spending most of your time continuing to build out Weval (weval.org), our evaluation platform that's being used by AI labs and governments to assess frontier models on questions automated benchmarks can't answer—like whether a model handles mental health crises safely, gives accurate legal advice in Indian languages, or exhibits political bias.

You'll also work on other CIP projects like Global Dialogues (70+ countries gathering public input on AI), Digital Twin evaluations (testing whether AI agents accurately represent people), and experiments with partners deploying democratic AI governance tools in the real world.

This is a high-impact IC role where you'll own significant parts of the technical infrastructure, work directly with partners at AI labs and governments, and help prove that democratic oversight of AI systems is not just possible but practical.

You'll report to Evan Hadfield, CIP's Head of Projects.

What You'll Do

Build and improve Weval (~60%)

Weval is an open platform where researchers, civil society organizations, and domain experts create evaluations that labs and governments actually use. It’s infrastructure for pluralistic AI evaluation where a mental health professional in the US, an election integrity org in Sri Lanka, and policymakers in India can all rigorously test whether AI systems work safely and well in their contexts.

You'll:

  • Build core platform features: evaluation authoring tools, leaderboards, data pipelines for collecting and analyzing human judgments
  • Develop APIs and integrations so labs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cohere) and governments can easily run Weval evaluations on their models
  • Design and implement rich data visualizations and interactive user interfaces to articulate complex evaluation data for non-technical audiences, including policymakers and journalists
  • Create tools that let non-technical users design and deploy evaluations, from configuring evaluation criteria to analyzing results
  • Improve platform performance, reliability, and UX based on how partners are actually using it
  • Own key architectural decisions as the platform scales to support more evaluations, more models, and more partners

Support other CIP projects (~30%)

You'll work on CIP's other democratic AI infrastructure:

  • Global Dialogues: Build tools to analyze and visualize data from 10,000+ participants across 70+ countries on what they want from AI systems
  • Digital Twins: Develop evaluation infrastructure testing whether AI agents accurately represent diverse groups' values and preferences
  • New experiments: Prototype new tooling that will let partners design and run their own pilots (e.g. epistemic quality benchmarks or AI-mediated deliberation)

What Will Make You a Good Fit

Required:

  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on frontend development and building excellent user interfaces. While this is a full-stack role, significant experience with NextJS, React, and TypeScript is essential.
  • You've shipped products that people actually use and find valuable.
  • You have product sensibility. You care about UX, design quality, and building things that work well for real users.
  • You have genuine facility with AI tools (like Claude, Cursor, or similar) and use them in your daily workflow to stay on the cutting edge and act as a force multiplier for building and problem-solving. You use AI tools not just for productivity but to directly build and ship.
  • You're comfortable working independently, making pragmatic technical decisions, and moving quickly.
  • You're genuinely excited about CIP's mission: building democratic infrastructure for AI, ensuring AI development serves people and democracy rather than concentrating power.
  • While exceptional international candidates are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to applicants who can work during Pacific or Eastern time zones.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with AI evaluation platforms, survey tools, research infrastructure, or data collection systems
  • Experience with Supabase/Postgres, Vercel/Netlify
  • Previous work in mission-driven organizations, civic tech, research environments, or academic settings
  • Open source contributions, technical writing, or community building
  • Familiarity with deliberative democracy, collective intelligence, AI governance, or participatory methods

This role in 12 months:

The nature of software engineering is changing fast. We expect that in a year, you'll spend less time writing code line-by-line and more time orchestrating AI agents, making architectural decisions, and reviewing/directing output from increasingly capable coding tools. The engineer's value is shifting from "can you build it" to "do you know what to build, and can you tell whether it was built well." That means stronger emphasis on system design judgment, quality standards, and the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams where AI is doing much of the execution. We're looking for someone who's excited by that shift — who sees it not as a threat to their craft but as a massive expansion of what a single engineer can ship.

What We Offer

  • Impact: Your work directly shapes how major AI labs evaluate and align their systems. Evaluations you build will influence model releases, government procurement, and safety decisions.
  • Ownership and Autonomy: You'll own significant technical decisions and product direction,  help define what we build and how, and think through how we can best help people with our work.
  • Interesting problems: You're building infrastructure for pluralistic evaluation at global scale, handling multilingual content, complex human judgment data, and integration with frontier AI systems.
  • Great team: Our team is committed, mission-driven, and kind. You’ll also work with researchers, policy experts, and practitioners across leading AI labs (Anthropic, OpenAI), governments (UK AISI, Taiwan, India), and civil society organizations worldwide.
  • Growth: Room to expand responsibilities as our projects and team grow. Many paths forward depending on your interests: deeper technical ownership, product leadership, or expanding into new problem domains.
  • Compensation: $150k + comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, 403(b) [nonprofit version of 401(k)], generous PTO.
  • Flexibility: We trust people to manage their own time. That means flexible hours, real accommodation for life stuff (appointments, errands, sick days, time off), and a culture that judges output over presence. That said, we work hybrid in-office/remote on Pacific time and our office is in Japantown, SF, and we have a strong preference for someone who can be in-person regularly for the kind of collaborative, whiteboard-it-out work that's hard to replicate on Zoom.

Head of Engineering

 •
STAR/CHILD
United States
1-50

The astrology app for parents.

lMcU
Jrw3
HqLp
9azy
7RYL

About STAR/CHILD

STAR/CHILD is the astrology app for people with kids and people who used to be kids. We've been live for over two years on iOS, Android, and web, with a community of parents who open us every day to figure out what the sky is doing and what it means for them, their kids, and everyone they're raising a family with. We have a gorgeous (we don’t mind saying) version of the app currently out in the world and a juicy roadmap of genuinely exciting new features we can’t wait to build.

Who we are: There’s really nothing typical about this company. For starters, we’re really small by design. We fit our work schedules around our lives, not the other way around. We operate from a belief (a fact, really) that well-rested people do better work. We're a small, female-founded, woman-led team, totally bootstrapped (how fun and not-at-all stressful for us) and happily independent. We care a lot about how the product looks and feels, how the writing sounds, and how the whole thing sits in someone's day. We're looking for the person who's going to own our technology — the strategy, the architecture, and the code itself — and find the most clever and resilient ways to bring the product vision to life.

The Role

You'll be our most senior technical hire and the person responsible for every line of code that ships. This role is effectively a CTO role, but we're calling it Head of Engineering because that's what it actually is day to day: you'll own the technical vision for the company, make the calls on what tools and infrastructure we use, and then spend your days building the product. You'll work directly with the CEO and Creative Director on product roadmap and priorities, and you'll have full authority over technical execution.

This role really requires a very particular person: someone experienced enough to make executive-level calls but who still wants to actually be elbow deep in code every day. You’re not inheriting a team of developers on day one. You'll bring in contractors when it makes sense, and down the road you'll help us grow a team. For now, the job is being the person who can set the strategy and ship the product — and love doing both.

This is a role for someone who's done the big-company thing, or the VC-funded early stage thing, or both, and wants something different now. You're really good at what you do. You can look at the product outcome we want and reverse engineer the best way to get there. You can look critically at what we’ve already built and tell us what we missed or what we can do better. You know how to move fast without burning yourself out. You’re fueled by innate curiosity and enthusiasm for doing this work — this is such a must, because honestly, there’s no one bearing down on you or looking over your shoulder. You really have to be someone who is motivated to wake up and cook every day (or night, if that’s when your brain likes to work). And you want to build something beautiful that people actually love.

You don't have to know anything about astrology, but preferably, you're not a hater. That could get exhausting for everyone.

What You'll Own

  • The technical vision. What we build, how we build it, what we use, what our architecture looks like a year from now.
  • The codebase, across iOS, Android, and web. You're our primary builder.
  • The product roadmap, on the technical side. You and the CEO figure out what's next; you own the how.
  • Performance, reliability, and all the unsexy stuff that makes an app feel good to use every day.
  • Technical hiring when the time comes.

Who You Are

  • You've been shipping software for 8+ years and can point to products people love.
  • You've worked across iOS, Android, and web.
  • You've been senior enough to own technical strategy somewhere, and your architectural calls have held up.
  • You still love writing code.
  • You're comfortable being the only engineer for a while. You know when to hire, when to build, and when to buy.
  • You care about quality in the product, the code, the details. You believe fast and good aren't opposites if you're thoughtful.
  • You're good to work with. Again, we’re a small team, and we all really like each other, and that’s a vibe we want to maintain. We’re not talking forced friendship (gross) but like, you can’t be a dick.

Bonus Points

  • You've shipped consumer apps, especially ones people open every day
  • You've worked on subscription or lifestyle apps
  • You've been at a small, bootstrapped company and know what that feels like
  • You have opinions about the tiny details — notifications, onboarding, the stuff that makes an app feel alive
  • You're into astrology (whether you know anything about it or not)

What We Offer

Comp: $165K–$195K base, plus equity and profit sharing.

The good stuff:

  • A full year of fully paid parental leave if/when you decide to add a new kid to your family (currently expecting? Feel free to apply! If you’re the right person for the job, we’ll make it work)
  • Fully covered health, dental, and vision (for you and your family if you’ve got ‘em)
  • Unlimited PTO (that we want you to actually take — trust us, we’ll be taking ours lol)
  • Fully remote, flexible hours — we sync when it matters and trust you with the rest
  • A small, kind, seriously talented team

What we're not: grind culture, 80-hour weeks, manufactured urgency, or a place that expects you to trade your life for the company. We're building something we love, sustainably, for the long haul.

To Apply

Send us a note at work@starchild.app with:

  • A quick intro — who you are and why this one caught your eye. Please don’t let AI write this for you. That’s just a huge bummer. We want to get a sense of who you are!
  • A link to your LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, or whatever shows your work best
  • One product you've shipped that you're proud of, and what you actually did on it

We read every application, and we'll get back to you promptly.
