As a guide Anaplanner within our Finance Systems team, you will be responsible for the development of predictive models, aiding the Finance Systems Director in formulating efficient tools. What You'll Do
- Develop data applications, including operational reports, dashboards, scorecards, and automated reports.
- Analyze data to ensure accurate output, solve issues, and perform data integrity testing.
- Mature the Anaplan Center of Excellence (COE) and establish governance and end-to-end solution architecture across the Anaplan platform.
- Deliver independent system solutions for Anaplan issues and improvements; serve as a point of escalation for complex problems.
- Handle Data Integrations and Data HUB, partnering with extended IT teams such as integration and Data Warehouse.
- Transform and implement multi-dimensional structures to support business processes.
- Provide technical direction in the implementation of large-scale Anaplan projects.
- Anticipate implementation obstacles and develop specifications and processes that leverage systems.
- Participate in data analysis and invent using development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
- Apply a deep understanding of financial technology solutions and multi-functional connections to align tactical requirements with strategic goals that improve operational efficiencies significantly.
- Secure accurate oversight and supervision of applications by partnering with internal controls colleagues to ensure compliance and standard practices.
- Foster innovation within the organization to build new solutions that enable business results and improve finance application delivery.
- Work closely with the head of Financial Systems located in Australia to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and support the effective utilization of the system.
What We're Looking For
- 6-8 years of demonstrated ability coordinating Finance Systems or application development related to forecasting.
- Possessing certification in Anaplan and preferably being a Master Anaplanner.
- Relevant corporate finance experience with knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and related processes.
- Good understanding of Anaplan architecture, gathering business requirements, and writing business rules.
- Experience with Anaplan modules – building, linking, and applying appropriate dimensionality.
- Understanding sparsity within Anaplan and modifying lists/subsets to achieve efficient sparsity.
- Anaplan dashboard experience – designing in new UX to drive a user-friendly experience.
- Experience with ERPs and cloud-based tools.
- Proficient in Anaplan development with a solid grasp of standard methods for model construction.
- Technical experience writing SQL queries and using ETL/scheduling tools.
- Understanding of upstream business systems and how they fit into Finance processes, working closely with multi-functional teams to identify process gaps, develop, implement, and maintain controls.
- Experience developing or supporting Finance models on GL Reporting, Driver-Based Forecasting, Scenario Planning, Profitability, Workforce Management, and Supply Chain is an added advantage.
- Established capability to question the existing standards and adeptly implement process improvements.
- Proactive, well-organized, and delivery-focused with a focus on process improvement (LEAN experience is beneficial).
- Ability to effectively work under stress, handling multiple priorities.
- Open and flexible, including ways of working and across different time zones.
