What You'll Do

• Own and drive the creative direction for our games, ensuring alignment with business objectives and player experience goals.
• Influence and craft the visual style from concept to approvals, ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
• Champion innovation by exploring new visual approaches that improve gameplay and engagement.
• Ensure artistic consistency and quality across all assets, balancing high-fidelity visuals with gameplay readability.
• Lead, mentor, and encourage a team of artists, promoting clear direction, collaboration, and growth.
• Establish and communicate team objectives, aligning with the overall game and company vision.
• Build and maintain trust within the team through consistent feedback, support, and career development mentorship.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging creativity and accountability.
• Coordinate art production pipelines, optimizing efficiency and ensuring seamless cross-department collaboration.
• Coordinate schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet game deadlines in collaboration with production teams.
• Work with game designers, developers, and product managers to ensure art direction improves gameplay.
• Adapt and solve technical or production challenges to ensure a smooth development process.
• Establish standardized processes for asset creation and implementation, improving iteration cycles.
• Leverage product and marketing insights to iterate on visual styles and optimize the player experience.
• Ensure technical constraints and optimizations are considered in asset creation, maintaining performance across platforms.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience leading or managing a team of artists in game development or high-quality art production.
• Proven expertise in game art development from concept to completion.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with experience managing artists at different career levels.
• Experience in developing and implementing art strategies aligned with game and business objectives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with various global collaborators.
• Deep understanding of art pipelines, production tools, and optimization techniques in game development.
• Ability to build and guide a wide range of game assets, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Experience working on games from prototype to launch.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Dedication to gaming and industry trends, focusing on recognizing innovations and meeting player expectations.
