Job Description

The Compliance Support Specialist is responsible for preparing and distributing required notifications to regulators related to the shipment of games and software.  The Specialist must ensure compliance with product shipping-related regulations and requirements of various jurisdictions in which the company does business, within time constraints, to support business targets.

  • Supervises the day-to-day shipping and notification process (i.e., review appropriate system report for orders, Outlook inbox for machine notifications to Regulatory Authorities)
  • Verifies that the game and software are approved for the jurisdiction.
  • Verifies and aligns with all shipping compliance requirements, including providing copies of certification reports and PAR sheets to Regulators as vital.
  • Prepares machine and software notifications for submissions to the appropriate Gaming Regulatory Agency and the casino receiving the shipment.
  • Completes reports for various jurisdictions as needed by Regulatory Agencies.
  • Responsible for addressing issues and assessing the level of compliance risk and appropriately calling out when necessary.
  • Attends relevant partner meetings
  • Collaborates with internal departments to facilitate strict delivery requirements and customer timelines.
  • Coordinates with Regulatory Agencies to acquire current contact information and shipping notification requirements, and maintains this information in the appropriate system.
  • Responds to requests from casinos, regulators, and internal departments for various order-related inquiries and other compliance documents.
  • Builds working teamwork with other departments to collect information required to complete notifications.
  • Keeps department management appropriately advised of notification timelines and ongoing activity as advised by department management, including critical matters regarding regulatory compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in the Gaming Industry or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to think out of the box, problem solve, help streamline processes, and have a “can-do” attitude.
  • Must have strong communication skills,
  • Must be able to work independently and be team-oriented.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulation, technical standards (for Class II), and internal controls is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the resolution of complex tasks is required.
  • Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks within timelines.
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly accurate, and organized.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license.
  • Customer-focused.

Pay Range

$21.47 - $39.88 per hour

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
