What You'll Do

​

• Implement Agile development and software engineering guidelines throughout teams
• Enable the release of value by ensuring frequent software deployments of high quality
• Define, own, and communicate the tracking of delivery targets
• Plan, track, and communicate delivery achievements with precision
• Own and adjust staffing strategy to deliver business needs
• Lead recruitment activities to build a world-class team
• Promote collaboration with other business areas and teams, such as UX, Build, Product, Tech, Data, Network Operations, and Production Engineering
• Cultivate a learning environment and facilitate career progression for team members
• Undertake and ensure regular line management activities for direct and indirect reports
• Actively promote an inclusive working environment
• Support the flow of communications to and from the team
• Track and validate costs with strict adherence to budgets
• Support and align with Target Architecture to ensure consistency and quality

What We're Looking For

​

• Possessing 2+ years of familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and advanced understanding of Agile software engineering practices and tools
• Theoretical understanding or hands-on involvement with Agile on a larger scale
• Experience within a DevOps organization implementing practices such as continuous delivery, monitoring, and testing through automation
• Proficient understanding of XP methodologies such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and collaborative programming
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven application of planning and estimation techniques including capacity and scenario planning
• Ability to deliver results within set deadlines
• Data-driven monitoring and measures – tracking benchmarks, product metrics, and success indicators
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills to conduct engaging meetings and present ideas/findings
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration, bridging different engineering teams as needed
• Technical background with hands-on experience and the ability to brainstorm with team and architects
