We are on the lookout for a Director, Commercial Strategy to join the Quick Commerce Local Shops team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
Be part of redefining how customers experience quick commerce. You’ll help build technology that scales our non-food offerings, reaching new market segments and driving revenue growth. By innovating within our Quick Commerce Team, you’ll make Delivery Hero the go-to platform for a broad range of products, helping us grow faster and deliver more value to customers around the world.
- As part of our central team, you will partner with our regional leadership in fostering strategic partnerships with major retailers (e.g. Carrefour, Lulu, Rewe Group) across the globe and enable Delivery Hero’s next growth engine
- Drive the acceleration plan for Health and Beauty categories, by defining the strategic pillars for sustainable growth and expansion at global level, including product development roadmap, assortment & promotion game plan and marketing strategy
- Lead Beauty Global Partnerships (e.g. L’Oréal, Sephora) onboarding strategy design and execution as part of the acceleration plan for Beauty across the globe
- Assess and prioritize business opportunities (e.g. subscriptions, new verticals) and take the lead in developing commercial best practices both for our account managers and partners across our 70+ markets
- Conceptualize and track success metrics for our commercial offering throughout various stages of our growth and propel our commercial performance to new heights
- Collaborate cross-functionally in order to develop and roll out product and data science solutions to support our region and country teams as well as our partners
- Set and own OKR achievement with the leadership teams in the HQ and regionally and senior management with regular business and project updates
Qualifications
--------------
- 7+ years of professional experience (not counting internships), preferably with a minimum of 1-2 years of leading a team directly or indirectly from a regional role
- A curious mind and enjoy learning about our businesses in different parts of the globe and building relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, specially C-Level suite from global companies
- Strong business acumen, strategic and analytical mindset and enjoy partnering with global leading groups (e.g. L’Oréal, Sephora) and navigating complex organizational structures
- Hands-on mentality and outstanding logical and analytical thinking skills, as well as high attention to detail
- Highly motivated and communicative, very energetic and independent in handling business challenges, but with humble attitude and open to learning
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
Nice to have:
- Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or retail
- Experience in management consulting or strategic / project management roles
- Experience or interest in Beauty and/or Personal Care industries
- Experience with Salesforce & strategic B2B account management
