Director, Sales - West

Job Description
The Director, Sales - West, will be leading and developing customers to achieve sales targets, including new business development from key prospects within that region. This includes working closely with Marketing, B&FS, Operations, Technology Services, and headquarters staff to jointly represent the company’s products to clients and expedite customer orders to ensure customer happiness throughout the sales and installation processes.
What You'll Do

- Leads the nation’s sales and support staff to meet revenue and profit goals.
- Makes final decisions on sales deals within established guidelines.
- Advises staffing, training, and performance management per company standards and policies.
- Develops and leads annual financial plans in conjunction with Key Stakeholders.
- Monitors market trends and drives activity, in conjunction with Marketing, and recommends and implements sales programs and promotional activities.
- Develops new business opportunities and establishes relationships with key customers.
- Assists sales representatives with interpersonal skills, account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to maintain a high level of customer happiness.
- Facilitates weekly reporting of teams' sales forecasting.
- Participates in new sales representatives’ sales orientation and sales training programs.
- Acts as a resource to sales representatives in contract opportunities, proposals, and proformas. Assists with contract negotiations, closing sales, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
- Maintains expertise in new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers. Monitors competitive activity.
- Conducts presentations and meetings with customers.
- Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided. Answers questions from sales representatives and handles complaints.
- Interfaces cross-functionally to meet business objectives and tackle problems.
- Maintains up-to-date customer information.
- Identifies and implements training programs to develop and improve the team’s product knowledge.
- Proactively communicates business risks and field issues to internal management.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Aristocrat Technology, Inc.’s policies and applicable laws.
What We're Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, marketing, or related field, or its equivalent preferred
- Requires a minimum of ten years of sales experience in the gaming industry
- 5+ years of shown experience with management and field-related selling
- Able to acquire and retain gaming licensure.
- Able to travel 50% of the time
- Intermediate and above level understanding and usage of Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM.
- Must have a strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Able to communicate efficiently (verbal and written) with all levels of the business.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding the company, products, and employee information.
- Strong listening and presentation skills, and excellent collaboration skills.
- Must have a focused customer centricity with the ability to sell into the current customer base.
- Must be a creative, forward, problem solver and team-oriented.
- Display a professional image and appearance
- Must be detailed, organized, and self-motivated

Pay Range
$230,559 - $428,182 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
