Electronic Repair Technician

The Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic and electromechanical components down to the component level, including integrated circuits, motors, relays, and sensors. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics, using test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes), and performing soldering tasks. Candidates should have 1–2 years of technical experience, strong troubleshooting skills with AC/DC circuits, and the ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings. The position also involves training peers, adhering to safety protocols, and performing physically active tasks such as lifting and ladder climbing. Strong communication, basic math, and PC skills are essential.

What You'll Do

​

• The Repair Technician performs component-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electromechanical components
• Read and understand drawings, prints, and schematics
• Proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component-level failures, which will include defective ICs (integrated circuits), resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc.
• Proficiently troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanisms to component-level failures, which will include motors, relays, limit switches, sensors, power supplies, etc.
• Read and accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring, diagrams, schematics, and drawings
• Provide hands-on/on-the-job training to peers, as needed.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by leadership

What We're Looking For

​

• High school diploma or equivalent is required•1-2 Years of technical experience, including reading/interpreting technical data
• Board repair and assembly/disassembly of mechanical components
• Familiar with and able to use industry standard test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters, and have the ability to learn the proper applications of specialized test equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with AC/DC circuits
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills
• Reasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Pay Range

​

$19.92 - $36.99 per hour
