Job Description
The Mathematician works with artistic, executive producer and technical staff to create the game vision and player experience for video casino games.
Person would be working on the slot machine based game development for different market/regions.
The Game designer will do:
- Participate in designing all aspects of a game design including entertainment, pacing, mathematical outcomes, and player communication.
- Have meticulous attention to detail to achieve optimal math models.
- Generate initial and final excel-based math models and combination sheets.
- Test mathematical outcomes to assure quality and that accurate calculations are achieved (through excel).
Short Term Goals:
- Understand the game design concepts for multiple products in the games portfolio
- Understand and Deliver mathematical design documents for assigned projects and follow its full implementation through the development process
Long Term Goals:
- This position will work to create great games by designing player experience and mathematics model for multiple games.
- There would be some on the job training opportunities to enhance domain expertize.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years Bachelors / Masters in Mathematics/ Btech in Mathematics & Computing
Desired Skills:
- Experience with statistical model and proficient in Excel.
- Strong expertise in Probability Theory and statistics.
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Experience in one of the Programming languages: C, C++, Python.
Soft skills:
- Good team player
- Effective Communication skills
- Fast learner and self-motivated
- To communicate effectively with engineering, art, production and business personnel.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with artistic, executive producer, and technical staff to align game vision and player experience.
- Craft all aspects of game mechanics, including entertainment value, pacing, mathematical outcomes, and player communication.
- Develop meticulous math models and combination sheets using Excel to ensure efficient gaming outcomes.
- Test and verify mathematical outcomes to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Develop and detail initial and final math models to support game development.
- Deliver mathematical design documents for assigned projects and coordinate their implementation through to development.
- Engage in on-the-job training opportunities to improve domain expertise in game mathematics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or B.Tech in Mathematics & Computing with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong expertise in Probability Theory and statistics.
- Excellent data analytics skills.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills within a team environment.
- Fast learner, self-motivated, and capable of communicating effectively across engineering, art, production, and business teams.
