Join our vibrant team as a Junior Animator and take part in an ambitious, world-renowned company that values creativity and innovation! Your efforts will have a meaningful influence on our gaming products, making sure they are fun and immersive. As a Junior Animator, you will partner closely with designers and programmers to bring our games alive through smooth visuals and striking animations.
What You'll Do
- Contribute at all levels of the art production pipeline, from conceptualizing game builds to final game art.
- Maintain organized, layered files and asset storage.
- Work closely with the Art Director and team to develop artistically and professionally.
- Understand and apply the rules of animation to your work.
- Develop the modeling, texturing, and lighting of 2D and/or 3D objects and scenes.
- Develop original 2D and/or 3D animated content and graphics.
- Understand storyboards and build Animatics for game workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree in art build, animation, or a related field.
- Intermediate-level skills in animation.
- Proven experience with animation tools and techniques, as shown in your portfolio.
- Previous experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects, including plug-ins like Red Giant and/or Video-Copilot.
- Experience with Autodesk Maya and similar 3D art software; intermediate skills in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and animation are advantageous.
- Knowledge of storyboarding, video production, and 2D/3D animation.
- Ability to break down animation assets needed per task and provide accurate estimates.
- Outstanding abilities in drawing, illustration, and composition are an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills, ability to handle stress, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
