Job Description
The Manager, Enterprise Risk will play a key role in driving enterprise risk management and resilience activities across Aristocrat. As part of their role, the Manager, Enterprise Risk will have a primary focus on the Aristocrat Interactive and Product Madness business units, but will also support the broader business globally to promote and embed the enterprise risk management and business resilience programs within Aristocrat. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions to support the identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of risks, ensuring the continued success and sustainability of our operations. This position reports to the Director, Enterprise and Third Party Risk.
Key objectives of the role are to:
- Partner with the business to assess risks, both current and emerging, to drive insight, challenge and help deliver on the business’s commitments and strategy
- Improve the effectiveness of risk management across the business
- Support the business to conduct business impact analyses and build business continuity plans
- Drive continuous improvement in the Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resilience programs
- Assist the development and delivery of risk education plan to improve the risk culture across the organization.
The role may require some travel to ensure effective execution of responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be able to manage a diverse set of global risks, multiple competing priorities, and stakeholders from all levels of the organization. In particular, the Manager, Enterprise Risk will:
- Serve as a key point of contact for Aristocrat Interactive and Product Madness stakeholders for risk management and business resilience related needs or inquiries
- Provide risk and control advice and guidance to stakeholders across the business with a particular focus on technology risks
- Offer insights into risk scenarios, their likelihood and potential consequences
- Partner with the business to monitor emerging risks and extend risk management principles into the wider business strategy
- Support the fostering of a risk aware culture, including educating the business and finding opportunities to integrate risk principles into our ways of working
- Ensure the quality of Risk, Controls and Mitigating Actions documented
- Support the design and completion of key risk deliverables on risk exposures, trends and recommendations for the Board, senior management and stakeholders
- Lead delivery of risk-related projects
- Assist in the development and maintenance of business impact analyses and business continuity plans
- Coordinate delivery of annual business resilience testing plans
- Help to deliver risk awareness training across the business
- Proactively look for and implement improvement opportunities across the Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resilience programs.
What We're Looking For
About you:
- Five years plus of applicable experience
- Thorough knowledge of risk management standards, methodologies and tools
- Knowledge and/or experience of business resilience principles and methods of implementation
- Experience in gaming/technology organizations would be viewed favorably
- Experience in Technology Risk Management would be viewed favorably
- Managed multiple stakeholders and deliverables across tight deadlines
- Excellent communicator and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage with stakeholders of all levels
- A critical thinker and able to challenge the status quo and drive change
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment providing consistent, high quality output
- Team player capable of contributing to a collaborative team culture by creating a respectful, inclusive and fun working environment.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of applicable experience in risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management standards, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with business resilience principles and their implementation.
- Favorable experience in gaming/technology sectors, particularly in Technology Risk Management.
- Established capacity to coordinate multiple team members and adhere to challenging timelines.
