The Paralegal role is pivotal in supporting our ambitious goals, particularly within our White Label, iGaming, and Sports business units. What You'll Do
- Act as a Paralegal for the White Label, Gaming, and Sports Business units.
- Provide accurate and timely legal services, working closely with legal counsels on research, reviewing agreements, and drafting as needed.
- Engage in corporate secretary activities and legal administrative tasks as guided by managers.
- Conduct legal research on legislation, regulations, and industry standards related to online gaming.
- Promote seamless teamwork and partner with the business to aid in their goals and objectives.
- Work on special projects requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Work together with interdisciplinary teams, such as Compliance, Finance, Sales, Product, Project, Operations, and People & Culture, to offer legal assistance.
- Offer legal assistance for general commercial and gaming issues as allocated.
- Analyze legal issues, evaluate options, and assist in mitigating actions.
- Maintain organized records of legal documents, correspondence, and filings.
- Manage responses to legal inquiries and assist with litigation matters.
- Assist with corporate filings and ensure tasks are delivered by prescribed deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Law from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of paralegal or in-house legal background, ideally within the gaming, entertainment, or technology industries.
- Good understanding of gaming laws, privacy regulations, and intellectual property rights.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent English communication abilities, both written and spoken, demonstrating proficiency in explaining legal ideas to individuals without legal backgrounds.
