Job Description
Aristocrat is seeking a Principal Audio Designer to join our BASH GAMES STUDIO team in Brookhaven, GA. As the sole audio expert and creative lead for our studio, you will be responsible for setting the audio vision and strategy across all titles, collaborating closely with Game Design, Art, and Engineering teams to deliver immersive, high-quality sound experiences that elevate our games.
This role requires both creative leadership and hands-on expertise in composition, sound effects, sound design, and integration, ensuring that every title reflects our studio’s commitment to world-class quality. The Principal Audio Designer will design, produce, and implement all in-game audio—from music and sound effects to adaptive and interactive systems—while defining creative and technical standards for the studio’s portfolio.
The Principal Audio Designer role offers the opportunity to shape the sonic identity of some of the most innovative slot games in the world, influencing every stage of production from concept through release. You will directly impact how our players experience Bash Games titles and help advance the studio’s reputation for excellence in creative game development.
What you'll do
- Lead the creative audio direction for all Bash Games Studio projects, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with game design vision.
- Compose, arrange, record, mix, and master original music and sound effects for multiple game projects.
- Create and implement audio systems using industry-standard middleware such as FMOD and Wwise.
- Partner cross-functionally with Game Design, Art, Engineering, and QA to enhance gameplay through innovative sound concepts.
- Conduct detailed testing, tuning, and optimization of audio assets for performance, consistency, and impact.
- mplement and manage all in-game audio assets using FMOD, Wwise, and/or Adobe After Effects, maintaining precise synchronization with visual and gameplay elements.
- Provide creative and technical feedback to studio leadership during design reviews, milestone evaluations, and playtests.
- Research emerging audio tools, technologies, and trends in gaming—particularly within the casino, social, RMG, and Artificial Intellegence sectors—and apply them to elevate product quality.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels across disciplines to ensure alignment on audio objectives.
- Maintain organized audio libraries and project documentation to support ongoing and future titles.

What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of professional game audio experience in casino, social, or real money gaming (RMG).
- Proven expertise in composition, sound design, mixing, and mastering for interactive media.
- Strong understanding of interactive and adaptive audio systems using FMOD and Wwise.
- Advanced proficiency in Pro Tools, Wavelab, Adobe After Effects and virtual instrument suites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition, Audio Engineering, or equivalent experience (advanced studies preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of audio’s role in shaping player experience and supporting creative direction.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Mastery of at least one musical instrument and strong musical sensibility across multiple genres.
- Strong familiarity with project management and QA tools such as Jira.

Pay Range
$93,974 - $174,523 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
