What You'll Do
- Compose and build test plans, testing strategies, and complete test cases for manual frameworks.
- Test various functionalities on game development for diverse markets.
- Analyze and verify efficient manual test approaches.
- Perform functional, compliance, acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing.
- Collaborate with QA Managers/Leads to implement processes.
- Implement novel methods to advance testing processes, tools, and test cases.
- Identify automation targets and complete them.
- Provide solutions for technical issues and follow up on resolutions.
- Modify game code to trigger features for testing objectives.
- Collect memory metrics and core dumps using provided tools and frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in software testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance concepts, guidelines, and procedures.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA/Zephyr.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
- Capability to propose refinements for tools, processes, and test cases.
- Experience modifying game code for testing purposes.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical competence.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
