Job Description
The Consumer & Product Insights team within Aristocrat provides data and insights on market and consumer trends to advise decision-making across the enterprise. This cross-functional center of excellence brings together outstanding market insights, consumer research, and product strategy to identify new market opportunities, adapt to shifting consumer demand, and help the business realize the full potential of a diverse multichannel product portfolio. As part of the Aristocrat Global Product Organization, this team is crucial in enabling a data-driven culture that defines strategies and roadmaps based on a deep understanding of player needs and successful competitor strategies.
Join the Product Insights team to critically build growth strategies for Aristocrat's online and social slots businesses. As the team owner of SQL data analysis and PowerBI/Looker dashboarding, you will explore a variety of product, market, platform, and game content data by collecting, tagging, organizing, benchmarking, querying, and visualizing data. Your work will span Real Money Online, Land-based gaming, and Social Slots products, enabling a variety of new insights, and influencing product portfolio and commercial roadmaps. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work with both licensed and proprietary data for both competitors and Aristocrat products, enabled by your peers in player insights, the game explorers, and other partner teams. Your analysis findings will advise product recommendations for new apps and games and guide critical growth initiatives in live portfolio products.
The ideal candidate demonstrates passion for the gaming industry, a steadfast analytical inquisitiveness, and a proven history of quickly grasping and interpreting intricate datasets. They are excited to explore non-traditional, observational, and graphical data, regularly synthesizing with structured player data to produce unified analysis and new visualizations of product & market trends. The ideal candidate is eager to build ground-level games industry expertise, learn new skills from day one, and have a profound impact on product quality, player satisfaction, and business performance.
What You'll Do
- Own and operate daily data intake, analysis, visualization, & reporting for Player Experience Benchmarking, Slots Product Insights, and other research programs
- Develop self-serve PowerBI and Looker dashboards that visualize always-on analysis of unified player, product, and market data
- Query market performance data for 100k+ apps & games to new insights about player choice, expectations, and incentives
- Explore detailed product data about sources/sinks, progression, difficulty, reward value, pricing, and more to develop new Social Slots insights
- Proactively work with other analysts on multidisciplinary data analysis projects
- Clearly articulate & present your work to support partners across multiple product and commercial teams with diverse functional backgrounds
- Develop & maintain a detailed command of industry-standard terminology spanning Social Slots, Real-Money Online, and Land-based slots verticals
What We're Looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience required
- 2-4 years of experience in a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role at a consumer-facing company – games or gaming industry preferred
- Familiarity with free-to-play games, real-money gaming, and related product benchmarks
- Structuring Data – Strong understanding of APIs, workflows, and manual/automated data cleaning to maintain reliable data integrations
- SQL–Experience writing organized queries to explore sophisticated data sets
- Dashboarding–Ability to quickly & clearly visualize data with Looker/PowerBI

Pay Range
$78,400 - $145,600 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
