Job Description

Description

As a Product Manager, you will solve hard customer and business problems for our B2B2C business, Shopkick in a way that our customers love. You will work with different stakeholders from inside and outside the company, and will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, including product strategy, collecting and analysing requirements, defining functional specifications, tracking development, QA processes and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market research and product discovery, run competitive intelligence and engage with active/prospective/lapsed customers and partners to understand market needs
  • Partner with B2C marketing to analyse and understand user sentiment and needs
  • Lead the translation of user and business needs into product requirements
  • Define the product scope, release phases and plan the roadmap
  • Be responsible for new features/products from high-level requirements down to specific tasks for the developers
  • Working closely with Engineering, QA teams, UX/UI and Data teams to solve stability issues and deliver roadmap
  • Lead cross-functional team for the Shopkick domain, engage all relevant internal stakeholders, gather inputs, communicate plans & releases, manage expectations
  • Coordinate the work of all Product Managers contributing to the owned product area
  • Get into the DETAILS to ensure we build a world-class product that our consumers and partners love and cannot live without
  • Any further responsibilities as assigned by the manager

Requirements

  • Experienced product leader with a track record of designing innovative products and experiences, launching software quickly with high quality, measuring results and achieving business outcomes
  • Experienced technical leader, having led complex software projects, (experience with ML is a bonus!), that optimally pertain to shopper loyalty programs, product catalogs and merchandising, ecommerce basket building, or affiliate programs
  • Min. 2 years working on SaaS applications and/or Mobile applications as either a product manager or software engineer
  • Technical background with degrees in either Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics is a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of user experience and user behaviour
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
  • English language: advanced level
