Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the initial development phase of new digital online gaming applications for regulated and free-to-play gaming. The role involves translating vision into a clear roadmap by prioritizing functionality and features, assessing technical feasibility on existing proprietary platforms, and producing accurate cost and timeline projections for test and launch phases.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with product, develop, engineering, compliance, and finance teams to guarantee the project is positioned for success from inception through launch readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

Project Prioritisation & Requirements Gathering

​

• Define and detail the initial project scopes, including features, functionality, and user experience.
• Partner with participants (product, compliance, engineering, and business leaders) to align requirements with business strategy.
• Translate business concepts into functional requirements and technical specifications.

​

Technical Feasibility & Platform Evaluation

​

• Assess integration requirements with proprietary gaming platforms.
• Work with engineering leads to evaluate the technical lift needed for player interaction, RNG handling, transaction management, and compliance integrations.
• Identify platform gaps and recommend solutions (e.g., middleware, APIs, third-party services).

Project Planning & Roadmap Development

​

• Build and maintain detailed project plans with landmarks from concept to test phase to launch.
• Provide clear cost projections, resource allocations, and risk assessments.
• Develop test strategies and success criteria for early pilot phases.

​

Team member Management

​

• Serve as the primary point of contact across internal teams and external vendors.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies in a clear and timely manner.
• Align teams on goals, results, and deadlines.

​

Compliance & Risk Consideration

​

• Collaborate with legal/compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (gaming jurisdictions, responsible gambling, data security).
• Identify potential risks and build mitigation strategies.

​

Execution Oversight

​

• Supervise early prototyping and technical evaluations.
• Supervise progress against plans, adjusting scope and priorities as needed.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet defined business, functional, and technical requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

​

• Project Management Expertise

  + demonstrated ability running digital product development projects, ideally within the realm of interactive gaming or similarly supervised industries.

  + Proven track record to lead projects from concept through initial launch.

  + Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.

• Technical Understanding
• Familiarity with backend platforms, API integration, RNG systems, and payment/wager handling.

  + Ability to evaluate technical lift and translate between technical and business team members.

• Proven Experience  

  Experience in online gaming, slot machine development, casino platforms, or digital wagering systems is strongly preferred.

  + Understanding of regulatory requirements across gaming jurisdictions.

• Analytical & Financial Skills

  + Skilled in cost modeling, budgeting, and value analysis.

  + Ability to invent accurate project estimates and timeline forecasts.

• Communication & Leadership

  + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  + Strong leadership in cross-functional environments; ability to influence without direct authority.

  + Experienced in vendor/partner management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in management, engineering, computer science or operations management.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
• Previous experience in slot machine, iGaming, or mobile app development.
• Experience taking projects through regulatory approvals and jurisdictional licensing.
• Understanding of player psychology, monetization models, and user engagement strategies in digital gaming.
