Salesforce Developer Team Lead

Lead the technical team in developing outstanding Salesforce solutions for global joy.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, ensuring flawless execution of projects.

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce technical solutions.

• Architect, design, and coordinate the development of custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

• Manage the entire Salesforce project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Coordinate code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure quality assurance processes are strictly followed.

• Collaborate with business collaborators, project managers, and other IT teams to define project scope and timelines.

• Facilitate standard methodologies and ensure adherence to Salesforce governor limits.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, integration diagrams, and deployment guides.

• Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and recommend adoption strategies.

• Manage risks, technical dependencies, and provide timely status updates.

• Support integration with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.

• Participate in release management and DevOps practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, or related fields.

• Minimum of 7+ years in Salesforce development with 2+ years in technical leadership.

• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience in Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling.

• Proven team leadership and mentoring skills.

• Salesforce certifications preferred (Platform Developer I/II, Certified Technical Architect).

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex Salesforce implementations in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.

• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DX tooling.

• Exposure to ETL tools, data migration, and governance practices.

• Ability to work in onshore-offshore team models.

• Strong understanding of OAuth, SAML, and Salesforce security features.

• Willingness to work varied hours, supporting Australian and United States business hours when needed.
