Aristocrat is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our finance team. Your role is essential in maintaining financial stability by coordinating credit-related risks. What You'll Do
Credit Risk Assessment:
- Manage customer online credit applications for new onboarding customers.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of existing customers through detailed financial analysis and risk assessments.
- Analyze financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information to identify potential risks.
- Manage and maintain the PPS Register to ensure risk mitigation.
- Perform annual and quarterly reviews of customer risk profiles.
- Provide insight and support in risk identification.
Managing Accounts Receivable:
- Prepare and manage debt recovery efforts for overdue accounts.
- Preserve credit-related details for each customer, encompassing credit limits, credit terms, payment history, and credit risk evaluations.
- Submit ATB for commercial portfolio monitoring with external risk analytics products like Equifax.
Risk Monitoring and Management:
- Regularly track credit exposures and confirm adherence to set credit limits.
- Build and upkeep risk monitoring tools and systems.
- Maintain and monitor commercial risk alerts with Credit Bureau.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies, including collateral management.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and update credit risk policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and standard methodologies.
- Guarantee adherence to internal policies, regulatory mandates, and industry norms.
- Perform routine evaluations and audits of procedures and protections associated with credit risk.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop in-depth reports regarding credit risk and accounts receivable for senior management and clients.
- Contribute viewpoints and suggestions after analyzing credit risk and accounts receivable.
- Stay alert to modifications in credit risk and accounts receivable, highlighting any significant adjustments or possible issues.
Collaborator Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, such as finance, sales, and operations, to develop a comprehensive plan for leading all aspects of credit exposure and outstanding invoices.
- Maintain relationships with external collaborators, including credit rating agencies, auditors, and regulators.
Data Management:
- Sustain exact and current documentation of credit risk appraisals and determinations.
- Employ risk management software and tools for the tracking and analysis of credit risk and accounts receivable data.
- Perform regular master data audits.
Training and Development:
- Provide training and assistance to team members and partners regarding credit risk.
- Keep informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and guidelines concerning credit risk and accounts receivable management.
- Attend external AICM Risk seminars.
Customer Master Data:
- Perform master data reviews on a quarterly and annual basis with external entities such as ASIC and Equifax.
- Manage end-to-end changes of ownership.
- Consult with departing and incoming parties to register and discharge PPSR requirements.
- Develop, distribute, and process Novation documents as necessary within the CLM system.
What We're Looking For
- An educational background of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required. Possessing a master’s degree or equivalent professional accreditations (e.g., CPA, CCP, CFA) would be beneficial.
- Proven proficiency in coordinating credit risk, coordinating accounts receivable, or a similar role, typically with 5+ years of experience.
- Mastery in accounting applications (such as MS Dynamics, SAP) and risk assessment tools (like ApplyEasy, Equifax, SAS, Moody’s). Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.
