Job Description
What You'll Do
- Game Math Design:
+ Build, develop, and document mathematics for slot and instant-win games.
+ Build pay tables, probability models, and simulations to define RTP, volatility, and hit frequency.
+ Ensure balance between player entertainment and commercial targets.
- Analysis & Optimization:
+ Run detailed simulations to validate math performance and regulatory compliance.
+ Optimize math models based on game performance data and player feedback.
- Collaboration:
+ Collaborate with game designers to ensure mathematical models align with game concepts, mechanics, and features.
+ Work closely with developers to build, integrate, and validate math models within the game engine.
+ Assist QA teams in testing and validating game outcomes to confirm alignment with mathematical design expectations.
- Documentation & Compliance:
+ Prepare detailed math documents for internal review and certification labs.
+ Ensure all models align with the rules and standards of supervised markets.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Shown experience crafting math models for slot games or similar.
- Strong probability, combinatorics, and statistical modelling skills.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight schedule.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regulated iGaming and lottery markets.
- Knowledge of player psychology and monetization models in gaming.
- Ability to interpret and use performance analytics to refine game math.
