This is a department focused on topics such as grocery content, item navigation, assortment optimization, affordability and more.

You will partner closely with product managers, software engineers and data scientists, driving operational excellence and strategic insights across multiple teams in the QC Growth organization. The focus lies on experimentation, metrics monitoring, deep dive analysis, and fostering a data-driven culture.

Your expertise, leadership and insights will directly shape product roadmaps, optimize features, and assess impact. You will directly lead and help others to lead multiple key initiatives, in which the team will define KPIs, design experiments, and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels. You will help us ensure product initiatives deliver measurable business value, transitioning from a reporting mindset to a problem-solving approach, and driving innovation in analytical methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and guide product managers and cross-functional tech teams to define hypotheses, KPIs, and success criteria for various initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide data contributors (data analysts, data scientists, data engineers) from multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of product usage, adoption, and impact metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Own end-to-endanalytics support for product and tech initiatives.
  • Design and execute experiments (A/B, quasi-experiments) and influence the overall experimentation strategy to optimize product features and user experiences.
  • Establish effective causal inference strategies to evaluate interrelations and identify growth drivers, and championing their adoption across the organization.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of tracking strategies and ensure data integrity.
  • Generate business intelligence solutions and compelling visualizations to communicate key insights.

  • Experience with event tracking and instrumentation tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Amplitude
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field)
