Job Description
We are looking for a Unity Developer to join one of our game development teams. In this role, the successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing exciting new features for the next flagship title at Product Madness.
This role involves participating in technical discussions, designing solutions, and implementing high-quality code. The Unity Developer will work closely with producers, designers, and other developers in a highly collaborative and genuinely agile environment.
The team is small and composed of experienced game development professionals, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a new game while contributing across multiple aspects of game development.
What You’ll Do
- Program core game mechanisms using the Unity Engine
- Design and maintain a flexible, stable, and scalable game architecture
- Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
- Develop clear and concise user documentation
- Collaborate with the team in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience working with Unity and/or C#
- Experience in the game industry
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and development principles
- Ability to build flexible, reusable, and maintainable systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to write and understand user documentation
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Games-as-a-Service (GaaS) concepts
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience with Unity Addressables and/or asset management
- Experience with asynchronous programming
