You’ll be setting up and streamlining our financial operations as our first internal accounting hire—ensuring every transaction is accurate, every report is insightful, and every process is built to last. You’ll be the go-to person for month-end close process, ensuring our systems all speak the same financial language, and our accounting data is clean.

What You'll Do

Daily Operations & Controls:

  • Manage day-to-day tasks including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Develop, document, and refine internal controls and processes as our company scales.

Revenue & Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure that revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable entries meet GAAP and ASC 606 standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct meticulous reviews of system reports to guarantee data completeness and accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Revenue Operations, finance, legal, and executive teams to resolve revenue accounting challenges.
  • Assist external auditors during annual audits and support ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements—because even finance can get an upgrade.

Qualifications

--------------

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
  • You have 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally within SaaS finance or a high-growth tech environment.
  • You’re well-versed in ASC 606 and GAAP, with a proven ability to reconcile complex revenue streams.
  • You excel in Microsoft Office and G Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Proficiency with SQL and experience with accounting ERP systems (like QBO and NetSuite) are a bonus.
  • You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced environments where precision matters.
  • You communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $138,876 - $173,595. About the Role

Metronome is seeking a dynamic Strategic Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities that drive our business forward. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will support management in building and maintaining growth models, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses to optimize revenue, spending, and overall financial performance. Your work will be critical in operationalizing budgets, identifying key investment opportunities, and ensuring that our financial strategies align with our OKRs. This role is ideal for a top-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates extreme ownership in diagnosing challenges, analyzing solutions, and driving impactful implementations.

This role requires applicants to based in New York City or willing to relocate.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain dynamic growth, financial models, and forecasts that drive revenue and spend optimization budget variance analysis, revenue forecast, customer metric tracking (LTV, and CAC payback, rule of 40, etc.) to evaluate key business opportunities and support decision-making
  • Function as a hands-on, strategic partner to business leaders, working closely with the Head of Finance to craft actionable business recommendations based on key metrics and insights.
  • Assist with planning exercises and manage the quarterly and annual budgeting cycles, ensuring efficient processes for budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Assess key metrics across the business to align financial models with our strategic objectives and OKRs.
  • Maintain scalable financial reports and models to validate and communicate quarterly business reviews, and work closely with the Accounting team on initiatives such as the monthly close process
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial analysis and reporting processes, taking extreme ownership of your role in driving operational efficiency
  • As we build out our data analytics team, partner with them to source and structure data, ensuring that our forecasts and KPIs are reliable and accurate

Impact You'll Have

  • Collaborate with department leaders to support the businesses financial goals, and drive high-priority initiatives
  • Own the full lifecycle of Financial Planning and Analysis, from table stakes P&L and Burn modeling, budget variance analysis, to driving strategic projects as a business partner
  • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, S&M, and G&A leaders to set and execute key financial metrics and strategic initiatives, driving alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

--------------

  • 6+ years in investment banking, private equity, or within a high-growth technology/SaaS company in strategic finance or FP&A roles
  • Expert-level Excel skills with extensive experience in building P&L, LTV, and CAC models and analyzing large data sets
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP
  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with expertise in building and executing data-driven strategies
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to translate data into clear, impactful narratives
  • A self-starter who thrives on ownership and has a bias toward action, even in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
  • Comfortable tackling open-ended, complex questions and iterating quickly on solutions
  • Collaborative and adept at building strong relationships with cross-functional teams

The Client Experience Associate (CXA) will be an integral part of supporting our clients and their needs by working closely with the Director led Client Experience teams.  The CXA will be proactive, technical, and should have a strong desire to manage their own book of business in the future.

Responsibilities of the Client Experience Associate:

  • Learn the Movable Ink platform and email industry eco-system

Role Overview: 

The Sales Analytics team at CarGurus is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help empower our Sales & Service teams with data-driven tools and insights. Our mission is to enhance dealer interactions, streamline prioritization, and drive seller productivity through small but impactful gains. In this role, you will deliver analysis and insights that support revenue growth and customer retention across both US and international Sales & Service organizations.

As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the Sales Reporting roadmap and work closely with Sales & Service leaders, Sales Support teams, and Data Engineering to build reporting and develop innovative tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, refine, and execute the reporting roadmap to support a diverse range of internal stakeholders in Sales & Service.
  • Provide strategic insights into sales performance, funnel analysis, expansion opportunities, and sales cycle efficiency to support informed business decisions.
  • Create actionable reports and interactive dashboards from diverse data sources to drive informed decision-making across all levels of the organization.

  • Drive the development of sales tools, research, and strategic initiatives through efficient data sourcing and ETL processes.
  • Use data and models to support recommendations to leadership, enhancing business outcomes.

  • Enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within SaaS, data strategy, or consulting environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Proficient in using storytelling techniques to present data insights in a clear and engaging manner, catering to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with ETL processes; knowledge of DBT is a plus.
  • Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools like Tableau or CRM Analytics. Experience in Looker is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS Sales KPIs and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and address gaps in sales processes and data management.

Role overview

As a member of the CarGurus reliability team, the site reliability engineer will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and promulgating best practices and tools for SRE and observability.

What you’ll do

  • Linux administration, site reliability best practices, incident management, critical on call.
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Product Managers to define SLOs and monitoring of well-designed SLIs

What you’ll bring

  • Linux administration, SRE theory and vocabulary, basic coding and scripting, production experience, incident management experience.
  • A proven background in software engineering with multiple languages and significant relative operational experience running revenue-critical services at scale
  • Understanding of technologies beyond coding such as Load Balancing, Configuration Management, Kubernetes, Terraform and Observability Systems
  • Comfort in dealing with Incidents and Availability Issues under pressure
  • Familiarity and experience working with cloud infrastructure in an AWS environment
  • Familiarity with modern best Site Reliability Engineering practices and theory
  • Comfort and skill in written and verbal communication across teams and organizations
  • Excitement in solving puzzles, discovering how a new service or tool works by identifying the individual components, libraries, and relationships it is built upon

Role overview

This role is fundamental in designing the preventative and operating the detective, security control programs for our cloud and corporate infrastructure and products. This role is a critical leadership role within the Information Security team and functions as a thought-leader for infosec organizationally.

What you'll do

  • Design, architect, and implement defensive security controls across on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in accordance with CIS Controls and NIST frameworks
  • Work with infrastructure-as-code technologies to establish automated security configurations to support platform hardening, security controls and policies in the infrastructure deployment pipeline
  • Manage Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and make necessary changes for accurate threat detection and remediation of identified issues
  • Scan, triage and remediate security vulnerabilities while continuing to mature the vulnerability management program

  • Build out our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution, incident response, and forensic capabilities
  • Act as the Incident Commander of the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT)

What you'll bring

  • 5-7 years of experience securing cloud agnostic infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and datastores (MySQL, MongoDB, RDS) including use of automation and container deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Chef, Puppet)
  • Extensive experience managing an IDS, SIEM and vulnerability management solutions in a hybrid environment
  • Solid understanding of RBAC models and SSO solutions (SAML 2, OAuth 2, OIDC)
  • Proficient in system hardening and patch management strategies
  • Authored and maintained infrastructure security policies, standards, and procedures
  • History of working on a Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) investigating events, triaging potential incidents, containing environments, conducting forensics analysis
