We are seeking an exceptional Sr Product Designer to fill a critical role in our Ad Platforms team. As a key member of a growing design team driving high-priority initiatives, this person will have a unique opportunity to help create the future of Disney’s thriving streaming business. Key Responsibilities:

Sr Product Designers at Disney are resourceful, imaginative problem solvers who collaborate inclusively with a range of engineering, product management, and other teammates and stakeholders throughout the design process. In this role, you will work independently across multiple projects, both build 0-1 solutions and optimize existing functionality, and apply in-depth knowledge about best-practices and evolving technologies.

Specifically, the person in this role will be expected to:

  • Take full ownership of projects that involve end-to-end features or products within a clearly scoped set of product requirements.
  • Design intuitive, easy-to-understand user experiences that enhance the overall product.
  • Create and iterate on flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals to communicate ideas.
  • Actively contribute to product-level decision-making by participating in team meetings, cross-functional groups, and collaborative feedback sessions.
  • Consistently deliver work that is well-thought-out and aligned with project goals.
  • Demonstrate sustained productivity and meet project deadlines by accurately estimating the time required for tasks.
  • Set an example for designers in your orbit through mentorship and open, honest feedback.

Qualifications:

As an applicant to this role, we ask that your portfolio demonstrates:

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience shipping high-utility mobile or desktop applications, simplifying complex user flows, or delivering new product innovation that disrupted conventions.
  • Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Self-motivated problem solving with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Hunger for innovation, fluidity with ideas, eagerness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills.
  • Strong work ethic, are reliable, adaptable, and collaborate well with others.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY and Seattle, WA is $132,500 to $177,600 per year, in Santa Monica, CA $126,400 to $169,500 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $138,500 to $185,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Lo que estamos buscando

  • Experiencia en QA demostrada: de 3 a 5 años de experiencia profesional en QA del software, con especial énfasis en pruebas de sistemas complejos, integraciones y canalizaciones de datos.
  • Especialización en automatización de pruebas: experiencia demostrable en el diseño, desarrollo y mantenimiento de frameworks y scripts de pruebas automatizadas (p. ej., con C#, Python, Java o similar).
  • Capacidad técnica: amplios conocimientos de SDLC, metodologías de QA, pruebas de API (RESTful), conceptos de bases de datos (SQL/NoSQL) y prácticas de CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
  • Aptitudes analíticas y de resolución de problemas: excelente capacidad para analizar requisitos complejos, identificar riesgos y casos extremos, solucionar problemas y pensar de forma crítica sobre sistemas novedosos de pruebas.
  • Actitud de adaptabilidad y aprendizaje: ganas de aprender y aplicar nuevos conceptos, sobre todo en lo relacionado con las pruebas de IA/ML, gráficos de conocimientos y técnicas avanzadas de automatización.
  • Excelente comunicación y trabajo en equipo: capacidad para colaborar de forma eficaz en un equipo ágil y multidisciplinario y para comunicar conceptos técnicos con claridad.

Recomendable tener:

  • Experiencia probando sistemas impulsados con IA/ML, conocimiento de conceptos como la validación de modelos, la detección de sesgo o las pruebas de explicabilidad.
  • Experiencia en herramientas o metodologías de pruebas basadas en modelos (MBT).
  • Experiencia en pruebas en el entorno del motor de Unity o pruebas de herramientas de desarrollo de juegos.
  • Conocer bien los sistemas de gestión de conocimientos (KM), las bases de datos de gráficos (como Neo4j) o las pruebas de la funcionalidad de búsqueda semántica.
  • Experiencia en la validación de canalizaciones de datos de telemetría o análisis.
  • Experiencia en la implementación o utilización de estrategias de pruebas basadas en riesgos.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Experience in a technical role (software developer, tester or technical analyst).
  • Experience in writing Technical Design Documents or Technical Requirements;
  • Solid knowledge of client-server architectures and network concepts.
  • Ability to understand technical details of a system and foresee edge case scenarios and performance issues in a proposed solution.
  • Able to manage development and delivery across different locations and time zones.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137000 - $286200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

About the role

Wealthfront is looking for a senior product designer to join our Growth team. Reporting directly to the director of design for Growth, you will join a tight team of talented designers working on high impact projects for the company. What you will be doing

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our international team to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. you will be collaborating with the rest of the engineering team to participate in the architecture, design, development, launching, and maintenance of our web applications.

To get the most out of this role you should be proactive and keen to get involved. You must be a strong team player with a can-do approach, who can work under minimal supervision. You must also have a great passion for learning and be able to communicate with your colleagues in both Spanish and English.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Build isomorphic applications using full-stack Javascript technologies
  • Work closely with product owners, architects, UX engineers to deliver complex and high-quality customer facing software applications
  • Follow modern development practices
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
  • Manage build pipelines
  • Design and implement effective and well-documented APIs
  • Write unit tests to ensure code quality and high test coverage

Knowledge and skills you need to have

  • Expert knowledge of Node.js, along with a solid understanding of one of the following frameworks: React, Svelte, or Next.
  • Experience with isomorphic applications (SSR, SPA).
  • Experience with unit testing libraries/frameworks (Jest, Mocka), RESTful web services, and Visual TDD (Storybook).
  • Familiar with MongoDB.
  • Delivered well-written, testable, and efficient code.
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of:

Our Product Development and Design team serves as a cornerstone of our business, overseeing the complete product lifecycle from initial concept and design to tooling and manufacturing, ensuring successful delivery to our customers.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leverage industry experience and SolidWorks software to develop customized packaging solutions for clients.
  • Interpret customer drawings, tool drawings and sketches.
  • Complete costing processes for designs using MS Excel
  • Prepare samples for testing.
  • Create comprehensive, detailed project plans for efficient progress monitoring and resource optimization.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of design and packaging trends, software, (including SolidWorks), and industry standards.
  • Understand design, packaging, and material trends to ensure compliance with industry standards in all projects.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and file retention for each project.
  • Represent the company in design and engineering meetings.
  • Participate in 5S and Lean programs.
  • Participate in ISO 9001 procedures relative to tasks being performed.

This position requires at least one year of SolidWorks experience. CSWA and CSWP certifications are preferred. Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, and PowerPoint is required. Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with Salesforce, DraftSight, and Auto Cad a plus. Additive Manufacturing experience with 3-D scanning and printing a plus.

The position requires strong problem-solving skills. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient workflow and on-time completion. Must demonstrate an elevated level of professionalism in meetings with potential and current clients, internal team members, and other stakeholders. Must be self-motivated, effective at working independently or in teams, and committed to meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business principles and possess a highly professional demeanor.
