In a day at Contra, you’ll probably:

  • Contribute to our end-to-end TypeScript, GraphQL, React monorepo. You’ll work across the stack — including our AI stack (LLMs, embeddings, vector search, evals, etc.)
  • Contribute to our Vitest/Playwright test suite.
  • Participate in the RFC process, building alignment around new database and API schemas and new patterns.
  • Participate in all parts of the product development process, like design critiques, code reviews, and cross-functional planning with your team.
  • Work on maintaining a tidy home: eliminate technical debt, improve performance, address customer bugs, improve developer experience, etc.

  • Owning and managing the company’s Internal and External Tools, by performing ongoing market and business analysis aligned with the goals set by management.
  • Owning, as well as being responsible for documenting the product features & processes: from conceptualizing, story-boarding, PRD (Product Requirements document) creation, including system use cases and white sheets, and many more.
  • Delivering PRDs with prioritized features to relevant stake-holders in R&D and Delivery.

What We're Looking For

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering technical support and service excellence across customer sites. Working closely with the Service Manager and wider Field Services team, you’ll be responsible for providing a full range of technical support, including the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic gaming machines.

You will be a key representative of Aristocrat, ensuring seamless operations for our customers by providing hands-on support and professional service that aligns with ATA’s service initiatives, safety standards, and compliance obligations.

This is ideal for someone technically minded and customer-focused.

What You'll Do

Customer & Technical Service

  • Perform scheduled tasks, preventative maintenance (PM), break/fix repairs, and system diagnostics on-site.
  • Perform equipment installation, removal, upgrades, modifications, and game changes to gaming equipment at customer sites, including when venues are closed to the public.
  • Investigate and resolve problems, including complex system faults, and perform necessary repair work.
  • Respond to service calls promptly and professionally to meet customer expectations and SLA requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with venue staff and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Accurately capture and report all activities using Aristocrat’s field service management tools.
  • Ensure real-time data entry and 100% accuracy of service records, tasks, and inventory.
  • Record all part usage and ensure returns are completed per ATA's SLA and compliance standards.
  • Assist with internal service reporting and respond to departmental requests when required.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) & Compliance

  • Ensure you have an understanding of and comply with Company and venue WHS policies, procedures, and regulations, including:

  + The health, safety, and welfare of all employees, visitors, and contractors

  + That accident/incident/near miss processes are followed, and investigations are conducted as required

  + Ensuring all activities meet Company & legislative & regulatory Compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Valid Australian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant state/territory gaming licences (support provided by Aristocrat).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently across multiple customer sites.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time, tasks, and service schedules.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and field service applications for reporting.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience in a technical field service role, gaming industry, or electronics/mechanical repair.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, maintenance scheduling, or service coordination.
  • Previous exposure to WHS systems, compliance environments, or regulated industries.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will need to meet the following physical requirements, which are essential to the role. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where possible:

  • Able to lift/move up to 25kg safely, using correct manual handling techniques and tools.
  • Able to comfortably step up onto a safety step and work in variable physical environments.
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods and standing for most of the workday.
  • Able to comfortably bend, squat, and work at ground level if required.
  • Able to comfortably move arms above head and work at shoulder height if required.

About the role

Wealthfront is looking for a senior product designer to join our Growth team. Reporting directly to the director of design for Growth, you will join a tight team of talented designers working on high impact projects for the company. What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology.
  • Superior Analytical Skills.
  • Eagerness to work in a team and as a team to solve problems but without requiring micromanagement.
  • Eagerness to act as a mentor and lead other developers of less experience.
  • Ability to coordinate with both external and internal teams.
  • Experience with different estimation techniques and engaging daily stand-up and retrospectives ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication skills including excellent English language skills, solid writing skills and solid people skills.
  • Scrum Master Certification A-CSM, CSP-SM, or PSM is a plus.
  • Experience in Jira is a plus.

In a Given Week, Our Product Designers Might Be

  • Meeting with the rest of the project team (product manager, developers) to plan out work for the week.
  • Facilitating a workshop with the client’s team, helping them evaluate which product concepts to build.
  • Creating screen designs and flows for a complex new feature.
  • Evaluating the usability of a proposed feature by testing a prototype with users.

Product Designers Must Also

  • Have an online portfolio or other example work you can share with us.
  • Have 2+ years of professional experience designing digital products.
  • Be proficient Figma users.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $75,000 to $105,000 per year depending on location, skills, and experience
  • Additional comp available via spot performance bonuses, sales referrals, and new hire referrals
  • 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 4%
  • 100% company-paid health and dental coverage for you and your family
  • Stipends for wellness (apps, gyms, etc.) and connectivity (mobile phone or home internet)
  • Conference and training (professional development) budget
  • The full team gets together in-person a couple times a year for all-hands retreats
