Cloud Security Engineer - (Bangalore - Hybrid)

Responsibilities include::
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of cloud security controls across all cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud environments, identifying and remediating potential risks.
- Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures for cloud-based threats.
- Advocate for and educate all levels of the organization on cloud security best practices and policies.
- Stay abreast of evolving cloud security trends, threats, and regulations, and adapt the security program accordingly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization (IT, Security, DevOps, Engineering, etc.) to ensure secure cloud adoption and operations.
- Manage relationships with external security vendors and consultants.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security or related fields (e.g., security architecture, threat intelligence, incident response).
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing cloud security programs in enterprise environments.
- At least 6+ years of Strong understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security offerings.
- 2+yrs experience in Cloud Security
- Expertise in cloud security best practices, compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA), and security frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
