Job Description
This position a critical role our newly formed Global Delivery Centre based out of the Amdocs Pune office. This role sits in the Cloud Business Unit of Amdocs and is pivotal to driving delivery for our customers across the globe. We’re looking for someone with strong combination of cloud architecture and engineering expertise as well as consulting acumen. As a Cloud Consultant you will have opportunities to work across platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and learn a wide range of tooling.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Working closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of cloud technology
- Helping to build & introduce clients to automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
- Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines, leading the migration of enterprise clients to hyperscale cloud providers.
- Help guide the strategic direction of infrastructure and application architectures and gain buy-in with senior executives
- Presenting case studies and cloud solutions at meetups, conferences and technology events
- Providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to your teams
What you will bring to the role

- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise Cloud Transformation and teams
- Strong working knowledge of driving and architecting large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions of public cloud environments
- Strong experience collaborating with stakeholders to deliver architectural solutions
- A strong understanding of public cloud security principles and adhering to enterprise compliance standards
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, security, and high availability solutions
- Experience with containerization and virtualization platforms, as well as container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience writing automation scripts with Python, Powershell, Ruby, NodeJS, Go or other
- Broad architectural knowledge of how cloud infrastructure comes together with a rounded appreciation of technologies and approaches (Distributed or Microservice Architecture, Event Driven Architecture).
- Experience implementing enterprise applications at scale, including N-tier or multi-platform applications
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools such as Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy Atlassian Stack or other
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Experience in preparing and presenting technical material to a variety of audiences
- Experience working in Agile project delivery teams
Desirable Skills

- Database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other
- Experience with more than one public cloud provider such as GCP and/or Azure
- Professional and/or Specialty level AWS certifications
