About the Role
The Principal Data Solutions Consultant role is a technical pre-sales role supporting sales for the Sourced Group Professional Services Organisation. This role is responsible for achieving and growing the global revenue target for the Data & Intelligence service line in partnership with the Cloud Sales and the broader Sales teams (CBE). The role serves as the technical authority during presales for the service line and its regional implementation.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Working closely with delivery leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of cloud and data solutions as they relate to the financial services industry
- Defining and implementing cloud-based data solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines

Business Development
- Manage and enhance the ongoing relationships at all levels of existing client relationships, from manager to VP+, including:

- Negotiate with client on negotiation of price, scope, and T&C for each contract.
- Monitor contract end dates, ensuring bridge contracts, extensions, or new SOWs are created and submitted in time prior to disruption of service.
Account Management
- Serve as the voice of the customer in underlying delivery issues.
+ Work directly with clients to identify issues relative to performance, team cohesiveness, and capture issues to resolve with consulting team.
- Create and report on financial forecasts, including Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly.
- Monitor milestone health and delivery timeline for all fixed fee programs.
- Manage pipeline within Salesforce to ensure all identified opportunities are created in the system.
+ Update each opportunity as it evolves with relevant details needed.
+ Manage document versions, archiving final versions of SOWs and correlating financials.
- Work within vendor management system (VMS) to manage contracts with the client including accepting, revising, and renewing contracts as necessary.
+ Ensure accuracy of rates, pricing, timelines, and end dates.
- Assist in initial onboarding for new contracts with consultants.
+ Work with clients to resolve any blocker in VMS preventing onboarding.
+ Transition onboarding to internal teams once initial setup in VMS is complete.

What you'll be responsible for
New Business Development

What you will bring to the role
- 10+ years’ equivalent Sales Professional experience, with at least 3 to 5+ years in Cloud Professional Services, Systems Integration and Managed Services Sales.
- Experience selling into the Telecommunications arena and understanding of the industry is required to structure offerings that meet the market demand.
- Understanding of large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in Cloud environment such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
- Thorough understanding of security principals and other associated cloud controls.
- Previous experience selling Cloud Migration, Cloud Services and Digital Telecommunications Transformation projects.
