The Revenue Enablement team is responsible for enabling our internal employees (“Justworkers”) to deliver remarkable customer experiences with confidence, every time. We do this by providing Justworkers with equitable access to training, programs, communications, tools, and expertise to support every stage of the customer journey.

As a Sales Assistant, you are responsible for enabling the productivity of our Sales team by helping to move deals from the initial conversation through our sales funnel.  Your work will allow our teams to spend more time with customers, and less time interfacing with internal teams on processes and task-oriented work. This position is well suited to a candidate that has exceptional organizational skills, likes working with data, and excels at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of sales and work with a fast-paced team to help deliver value to our customers. This will give you an opportunity to learn from some of the top performing individuals across the company.

What You Will Work On

  • Learn and understand our product and offerings
  • Support sales team process in compiling data and submitting applications for our relevant insurance policies
  • Embody company culture and maintain high level of integrity with data submissions
  • Meet predetermined SLA timelines for proposals, comparisons and insurance applications
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications
  • Work with sales leadership to create efficiencies in data collection and submission
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

As a Sales Assistant, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes are anchored in the following:

  • Good judgment - the exercise of critical thinking, analyzing and assessing problems and implications, identifying patterns, making connections of underlying issues, understanding risks and developing mitigation strategies, and taking ownership of the outcome.
  • Detail-oriented - exercises extreme attention to detail; is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both the cause and effect of a situation.
  • Foundational sales knowledge - the specific set of sales skills (prospecting, cold calling, nurturing, engaging, presenting, negotiating, closing etc) and knowledge (product, markets, trends, business etc) a person possesses to enact the exchange of value between a buyer and the vendor.
  • Results-driven - consistently achieves results, even under difficult circumstances.
  • Clear communication - the ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to gain understanding.

Qualifications

  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Familiarity with data analysts and reporting - you know Excel forward and back
  • You have strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
  • Proficient in Excel

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $26.00 to $28.60 per hour.
