As Sr. Product Manager, End User (Password Manager) at Bitwarden, you will lead the strategy on simplifying our end user experience for Bitwarden Password Manager to get users to build new security habits on creating and using strong, unique passwords. You obsess over the default, out-of-box experience and how to build an intuitive product to guide folks in as few steps as possible. You will use qualitative user and customer feedback in addition to adoption metrics to inform new roadmap initiatives. You also will think deeply about the end user experience in the context of our business customers who invest deeply in training to get their employees to adopt security habits.
This is an all-remote team and we’re looking for someone located in the U.S. with no preference for time zone. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the product and technology expert in how competitors solve end user adoption as well as benchmarking against reference products in other industries
- Engage directly with customers and prospects to discover and understand problems in the market
- Define and prioritize the roadmap for your product area
- Write clear, easy-to-understand product strategy documents, outlining problem and solution space for your initiatives to create shared understanding
- Define key metrics and business outcomes
- Obsess over product quality, inclusive of details in design, micro-copy, QA issues, and written GTM assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, customer success and go-to-market teams to ensure successful product and feature launches
- Review and regularly communicate business performance post-launch
- Engage with the Bitwarden community across different channels to provide updates to our end users on upcoming releases, community PRs, and bugs
WHAT YOU BRING TO BITWARDEN
- 4+ years experience in product management
- Experience in B2C/D2C products or PLG-companies a strong plus
- Ability to empathize with the needs of customers as well as high emotional intelligence to build positive working relationships with internal teams in a distributed working environment
- Ability to have technical discussions across engineering teams
- Extremely organized and able to make highly informed prioritization & trade off decisions with engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A growth mindset and a desire to learn from others
- Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security
