Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate Tech Lead Manager to revolutionize how the industry thinks about privacy engineering. You’ll spearhead the design, development and implementation of various privacy tools, policies and standards. Your innovative solutions will automate data discovery, classify data automatically, and identify where customer data lives and breaths. Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement CoreWeave’s privacy engineering roadmap
  • Craft and implement scalable privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) architecture within CoreWeave’s complex systems landscape
  • Oversee the integration of privacy-by-design principles into all stages of the SDLC
  • Architect, build, and maintain automated data discovery and classification solutions that work at scale, aligning with overarching company-wide data governance strategies
  • Lead the development of self-service privacy tools to empower engineering teams to be privacy-conscious
  • Staying ahead of the curve on emerging privacy regulations, industry trends, and cutting-edge privacy-enhancing technologies

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of of experience in information security, with a focus on privacy engineering
  • Proven track record of leading small teams to scale large challenges
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing privacy infrastructure and privacy-enhancing technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations (GDPR,CCPA, LGPD, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to design, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document solutions
  • Proficiency in writing code with modern languages (Go, Python, Javascript, etc)

Nice to Have:

  • Containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $190,000 - $240,000 annually. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
