How We Work
We’ve been remote since day one, so we’ve learned to welcome the flexibility needed to support our globally-distributed team in collaborating effectively across time zones, skills, and each individual’s energy levels. Defaulting to asynchronous work and communication means folks aren’t stuck in meetings all day. Instead, we work and build community through Slack across team and fun channels. Today, we’re proud to have Zapiens in 38 countries, 18+ time zones, and counting.
How We Pay
We aim to provide programs that deliver measurable impact, meet a wide range of needs, advance an equitable experience, and are sustainable programs that support our workforce. One example of this is our competency-based approach to setting base pay, which is established on relevant skills that are evaluated using five competency zones, from developing to mastered, which are specific to each role/level. Our Culture
Being remote and spread across 38+ countries means we have to be intentional about our company culture. To stay connected, we communicate asynchronously via Slack, have weekly company hangouts, offer paired team chats, host meetups globally, and participate in an annual summit where everyone comes together once a year to build relationships in person.
We also value giving back to our global communities. We partner with organizations that align with our people, product, and public good, host volunteer events, and encourage Zapiens to volunteer in their local communities.
