Responsibilities

The Director, Software Engineering will direct and oversee the transition of COVID-19 data systems to support endemic, emerging health conditions, infectious diseases, and environmental surveillance, and ensure that data systems developed to support COVID-19 can be sustained and expanded as necessary to support both COVID-19 endemic phase and other outbreak and pandemic. The incumbent will work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and other managers to ensure that COVID data systems align with business goals and technical requirements.

This position will be responsible for directing, leading and supervising software engineering teams through architecting, designing, building, testing, and implementing innovative services and technical solutions across full stack of COVID-19 data systems The incumbent will encourage innovation and implementation of new technology, and ensure scalable, secure and resilient implementations.

Other appropriate related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and six years of experience in the direction and/or management of an information technology program or closely related field, public health, health/human services, or health regulatory program or community-based services program/ organization; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and eight years of such experience; OR ten years of such experience. The years of experience must have included policy formulation, program planning, design, implementation, evaluation, and/ or allocation of resources. At least four years of experience must have included supervision of staff. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

At least seven years of experience in application architecture, creating standard practices, and overall design of complex systems, with at least five years in a senior technical leadership role.  At least two years’ experience architecting and developing applications on a cloud architecture. Relevant experience supporting public health data systems as well as technology operations and design, evaluating and troubleshooting complex problems, documenting technical concepts, diagrams, and instructions for a wide variety of stakeholders. A Master’s degree in Computer Science Technology or Information Technology.

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel, up to 10% of the time, may be required.

The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. Telecommuting will not be available.

This position may require occasional work on weekends, after-hours, and holidays.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Product Design Lead, User Experience/Product Designer to join our Treasury Services Organization. This role is located in New York, NY-Hybrid 3 days a week.

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with experience working with, defining, and designing complex systems to bring creativity, strategic insight, and user-centered thinking to our team. This role requires a highly skilled designer who excels in collaboration, design execution, and the ability to drive impactful user experiences. This Senior Product Designer will lead the strategy and design of one of our most critical financial products.

The ideal candidate will bring the following expertise:

•  User-Centered Design – Lead with a user-first approach, ensuring all design choices address user needs, behaviors, and insights from research. Drive a seamless and intuitive product experience by deeply understanding our users.

• Journey Mapping – Map and analyze end-to-end user journeys across customers, operations, servicing teams and systems to identify pain points, key moments, and opportunities for improvement. Use journey maps to align teams on a shared vision of user needs, ensuring a cohesive and supportive experience at each stage.

• Interaction and UI Design – Demonstrates mastery in designing complex web interfaces and workflows, creating products that are both highly functional and visually engaging. Skilled in developing intuitive layouts, navigation patterns, and interaction models for intricate systems. Thoughtfully uses animation and micro-interactions to guide users, making complex tasks more approachable and enhancing the overall product experience.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals, transforming complex requirements into clear, functional design solutions that respect technical constraints.

•  Proficiency in Design Tools – Possess advanced skills in tools such as Figma and Miro, to create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that clearly communicate interaction models and UI specifications.

• Design System Knowledge – Experience with and contribute to a global design system that ensures visual consistency across interfaces. Develop workflow patterns and components that can then be reused by other teams.

• Complex Systems Knowledge – Bring an understanding of the unique challenges of designing and maintaining complex systems, with an ability to distill intricate requirements into clear design solutions that facilitate user understanding and interaction.

• Effective Communication and Storytelling – Articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders, making complex ideas accessible. Use storytelling to engage others in the product vision, fostering alignment and enthusiasm.

• Mentorship and Leadership – Skilled in guiding junior designers, providing constructive feedback, and elevating team standards. Fosters a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the team.

A portfolio is required to be considered for this position

Compensation Information

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,210 and $129,826/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As a Product Marketing Analyst, you will help craft positioning and messaging and support the execution of marketing strategies for Boomi AI and the Boomi Enterprise Platform. This role requires solid knowledge of product marketing, the Enterprise Software landscape, and agentic AI technologies. The ideal candidate brings experience in product or solution marketing, preferably within the iPaaS or AI vendor space.  

  

What you'll do: 

  • Craft compelling, differentiated positioning and messaging by developing deep insights into target buyers and their needs
  • Produce high-quality customer-facing assets, including presentations, datasheets, case studies, videos, and demos, to skillfully communicate the value of our solutions to potential buyers
  • Support the execution of marketing programs and sales enablement
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Collaborate with product management to drive launches and act as the voice of the   

buyer to help influence roadmap decisions

  • Present at customer-facing physical events and webinars as a subject matter expert

The Experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or other related programs
  • 2+ years of product marketing, solution marketing, or product management experience in the enterprise software/SaaS space with an emphasis on AI
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and market technology products to a technical and business audience
  • Well-developed analytical skills and experience with market research, competitive analysis, and marketing metrics
  • Advanced verbal & written communication skills, able to craft compelling stories and  articulate complex technical details and concepts in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including product management, sales, and customer success

  • Experience working for an iPaaS or AI vendor
