Job Description

CoreWeave is searching for a Staff Accountant who is excited about taking on new challenges and focused on professional growth. The right candidate will have exposure to every aspect of CoreWeave’s accounting function and will help build the team out in preparation for a public transaction.

Your Role:

  • Own the full AP cycle, including but not limited to working with procurement and interacting with vendors for credit term negotiations, processing daily vendor invoices, triggering ACH & wire payments, reviewing AP aging, and addressing any vendor issues;
  • Review credit card spending in the expense reporting tool RAMP to ensure accurate coding by accounts/cost center/function/geography, and ensure that employees & contractors follow the company’s expense policy;
  • Review, match, and reconcile daily bank transactions, booking journal entries as necessary;
  • Work with procurement to monitor PO status, goods receipts, and invoice receipts;
  • Work closely with Fixed Assets Accountant and Sr. Accountant to manage the data center fixed assets ledger through the acquisition, depreciation, and disposition cycles;
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations across bank accounts, corporate credit cards, and prepaid expense accounts, among others, while helping drive the month-end close to fewer than 5 business days;
  • Assist with annual financial statements audit, prepare supporting schedules and documentation;
  • Review transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment and allocation of expenses to various departments;
  • Provide relevant information for tax filings and collaborate with Controller/HR Generalist to ensure compliance with state & local filing obligations; and
  • Assist the Controller and CFO with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis.

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting with 2+ plus years of professional experience;
  • Fast learners required, who can learn processes the first time, become a problem solver able to improve and refine those processes, and rapidly take ownership on their areas of focus;
  • Strong GL & AP experience;
  • Passion for personal and professional growth and a desire to keep learning new things;
  • Extreme attention to detail and organization;
  • High proficiency in Excel, with fluency in extracting, transforming, loading, and manipulating large data sets;
  • NetSuite experience a plus;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment;
  • Strong foundation in US GAAP, with CPA/CMA progress preferred;
  • Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; and
  • Ability to work effectively across internal functions.

The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000/year up to $85,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
